I don't understand why everyone is making such a big deal about buying games digitally. PlayStation makes digital games a bit cheaper so people think its a better buy, but are spending more than buying card version games because you have to purchase more memory cards. For example, buying 6 games off of the PSN store will save you around 30 bucks, and will take up around 11 GB. Then you have to puchase a 16 GB memory card which costs 60 bucks. That makes 30 bucks less in your pocket.
I hated the PSP, it was shit compared to the ds and such AND DON'T talk about the slim, that was even worse but it is good that they finally released something awesome!!!

The Vita and the 3DS are very similar divices. I've played them both and will be buying a Vita very soon, but personally, I like the 3DS more. It's lighter than the Vita and shapes to your hand more naturally. The Vita is heavy and feels bulky and ackward in your hands the first time you play it, and the analog sticks are tiny and hard to get used to. i own a 3ds and i like it cause i do like the games on it, but theres only one thing id like to say about this video, the vita probably wont fit in any normaly sized pockets, skinny jeans or not, and it is very thick. the 3ds is in fact thinner then the vita.
@NotTheColourSilver depends what type of games do you like are you more of a "hardcore" gamer and like superb graphics for a handheld then i would say yes trade it in but if you like more of nostalgic feeling and like "casual" games or "family oriented" than keep your 3ds

I bought a 3DS for my little sister and it's pretty cool -- I love the slide pad, it's really comfortable, but I wish there were two of them. And the graphics are good enough for a portable console I think.
That said, I preordered the Vita because the 3DS is just too slow for my tastes. It takes forever to switch between menus, download games, etc. Plus the Nintendo eShop is, like you said, terribly sparse and limited. I'm skeptical about the Vita's mini analog sticks, but I'll cope.
PSN is a lot better than ninendo eshop and I hate people that say PSN sucks but its kinda true that xbox live is a lot better than PSN :( but then again the ps3 is stronger than the xbox XD
these two are not even comparable... the 3ds is a child's toy while the Vita is a graphical powerhouse and a console all its own.. i mean a gpu and a quad core processor? come on it has more ram than the ps3!!
@TheShuper78 To be fair, though, it is pretty expensive. I wouldn't mind the $250 price tag if it came with at least 16GB built in memory, but as it stands that's an extra $60 I have to spend. All told, once I buy the Vita, a memory card, a case and one or two games, I'm looking at almost $500.

If your giving this as an opinion, then that's you're problem. but if your comment is supposed to be an "honest comparison" then you are mentally ill, plus, as of the 15th, the vita CAN in fact take video. plus the vita and 3ds have almost the same battery life, and the vita can fit into a pocket JUST FINE. What about the sound? I heard that the ps vita has normal stereo sound, where you can hear whats left and whats right, but the 3ds has great virtual surround sound, for example when you RE you can hear, when theres a zombie behind you. And on the PS Vita?

Overall, I prefer the 3DS. But the Vita is still amazing. :)

@TheeROFLZone You for got the HI-RES 5"LED and yes it will be able to put in your pocket and the price is well worth it because the exclusive game for the PS3 like Little Bit Planet,Wipeout,Uncharted will be the same graphics as the PS3 would and the battry power is more enough to use outside witch i will say the screen will wash away outside but if you can mange the lighting outside you would sit outsdie for more then 3 hours.

@TheeROFLZone You got some facts wrong. The PS Vita can after the last update record video and the battery life is equal on both systems (with 3D on PS Vita outclasses 3DS in battery life) :) Oh and yeah, I'm gonna be an ass and tell you that the back "touch screen" is actually a touch panel ;)

i own a 3ds and i like it cause i do like the games on it, but theres only one thing id like to say about this video, the vita probably wont fit in any normaly sized pockets, skinny jeans or not, and it is very thick. the 3ds is in fact thinner then the vita.

Also, since graphics seem to be the main thing people care about and not actual fun games...I am playing resident evil for 3ds and also uncharted for the vita..and like I said, if you can stand looking at the 3d, resident evil looks amazing compared to uncharted..not to say uncharted doesn't look good to though.

I have both systems and I like both...in my opinion yeah the vita does look Better graphic wise..but if your like me and can stand the 3d for a while the graphics on the 3ds look amazing.this guy doing the review was definitely doing a very bias review.he did make some great points in terms of some if the things he said the vita was better in, but whenever he mentioned something the 3ds was better in, he immediately followed by saying oh its not really not that big a deal though...

I bought a 3DS for my little sister and it's pretty cool -- I love the slide pad, it's really comfortable, but I wish there were two of them. And the graphics are good enough for a portable console I think.
That said, I preordered the Vita because the 3DS is just too slow for my tastes. It takes forever to switch between menus, download games, etc. Plus the Nintendo eShop is, like you said, terribly sparse and limited. I'm skeptical about the Vita's mini analog sticks, but I'll cope.

@TheShuper78 To be fair, though, it is pretty expensive. I wouldn't mind the $250 price tag if it came with at least 16GB built in memory, but as it stands that's an extra $60 I have to spend. All told, once I buy the Vita, a memory card, a case and one or two games, I'm looking at almost $500.
