  • the first one was a beep

  • Seriously, I listened with my best headphones, all the way through.

Would be nice to a few faint sounds louder than others, say distant dog barking at different volume levels. Then I know what to count.

  • @gbj222 Good idea.

  • Sorry I dont know what quiet tones to expect.

Are these quiet tones higher or lower in pitch ?

Maybe my ears are bad ?? (age 67)

  • I barely can hear it at less than 1 kHz and more than 4 kHz.

  • @Garygoh884 Thanks.

  • I heard 14 faint tones: 1111111100111111. 1 is true, 0 is false.

  • @Garygoh884 Thank you.

  • I heard 9. I am 70

  • @89geo437 Thank you.

  • I mean, I heard the first 5 and the last 6.

  • @adlaaaa Very good, thank you.

  • I heard the first 5 faint tones (60 Hz to 400 Hz), did not hear any other faint tones until at 4 kHz; I heard faint tones from 4kHz to 12kHz

  • does anyone else get a massive headache from this?

  • @weirdspazoutgrl Nobody gets a headache.

  • heard all 16.. but i had to turn the volume of my speakers lower at 2kHz

  • @BGUniverse Thank you.

  • @BGUniverse Human hearing is more sensible to some frequencies than others, between 1000 hz and 5000 hz, the level needed to hear is lower...

  • @Matijhsen Thanks.

  • @Matijhsen at what volume levels should the be on?

  • 200 drove me insane!

  • @SweeneyToddGal Interesting.

  • I got 5

  • @BatteryBiscuits Very good.

  • Heard 'em all. And here I thought my hearing was bad...

  • I got 12.

  • @DerpyDashVA Good.

  • @Vatsek How many are there?

  • @DerpyDashVA I can't say.

  • Nothing On 100Hz And Everything After That Til 5kHz Then Couldnt Hear After 7kHz Again

  • @forevermorezanessa Thank you.

  • I Couldnt Hear Anything On The 100Hz Only Like 50 Seconds Into The Video is This Even Normall

  • @forevermorezanessa Could be.

  • 200 Hz freakin scared

  • @TheCPUaddict Thanks.

  • I think i heard all of them. but when it got to the 2KHZ i swear i heard 2 beeps, or it could have been none at all, and i just barley heard the one in 3KHZ. I'm wondering if my mind is playing tricks on me. This was a fun test though!

  • @korisep92 Thank you.

  • Heard all of them

  • @xTxNarutoxTx Really?

  • @Vatsek

    Yeah

  • @xTxNarutoxTx Well 60hz was vaguely heard for me but other than that I could hear all the other ones clearly.

  • I heard all of them except 1kHz, 2kHz, and 3kHz.

  • @thesmashfloydian Thank you.

  • hi - cannot hear 600, 800, 1000 & 2000!

All others are nice to hear ;)

  • @macao1177 Very good, thanks for trying it.

  • Thank you for your comments.

  • @Vatsek wtf

  • @SpecializedChild462 Read the video description. You should count number of faint tones that you hear. People are likely to hear different number of tones. Thanks for watching.

  • @Vatsek oh well i have really good hearing and I heard all of them none were faint.

  • @SpecializedChild462 You are supposed to listen for the short, faint sounds, and not the long, loud ones. The loud sounds are used to make a very noisy background only. The goal of the test is to verify that you can catch the faint, short sounds if they appear on top of a very loud, noisy background. I need to write a long explanation of it, I believe in the video description. Thank you.
