nah dude i disagree, i think the words is expressed in music, listen to amon, they wirte music for there lyrics, i think the lyrics plays a huge role in death metal music

Well today people know more about Death Metal. They know what most of the lyrics are about and one can guess from the term "Death Metal." DM is accepted more these days than ten years ago because obviously people got used to the sick and scary part. Otherwise we'd have some Cannibal Corpse getting-banned-from-countries going on in the US, hahaha.
The lyrics were the main thing at one time but I think that time is over.
