  • Was the PT 109 really Green?? I always thount that American Ships are always Grey!

  • Excellent!! Thank you for putting this video on YouTube!!

  • I'm not insulting him or anything, just asking a question: If he's using Tamiya acrylic, why does he use a chemical thinner? I thought acryllic thinned with water?

  • Tamiya acrylics can be thinned with water or chemical thinners, thinner used in a wash will give a much finer result than water over large flat areas like the decking.

Water tends to try and pool when used as a wash unless you use something like washing up liquid to break the surface tension on the water, but thinner dosnt need this. Just depends what look your going for really

  • Nope. Windex you need to thin. water don't works good in tamiya colors.

  • tamiya's acrylic paint can be thinned with some sort of chemicals....like isopropanol

  • @aryonas I think the desired result was a weathered effect on the deck where it was most probable for the crew to be walking. Actually worked better than I would had thought.

  • i made a same kit but i cant make this this guy is a rule

  • i LIKE THE FLAVOR!!!
