It does seem like people are a little scared of them.

I think that if they were interview by someone who listened to their music and liked it, the interview would go better.

It's really unprofessional that they would say that about interviewing them. The Killers are known for being uncomfortable with interviews, but it's not their job to make the interview go smoothly. I mean, that thing with Noel Gallagher, how many freaking seconds does it take to realize it was a dumb question and move on? It's not like they are rude in interviews either, they're just more introverted, lots of people do that. But they're job is to make music, and they are great at it.
