  • wonderful use of stockfootage

  • The Great Marty makes a Morris Minor a cool car - V8 or no...

  • My recollection of the Morris Minor was that it didn`t have a supercharged V8. He must have done some work on it.

  • I simply love him.

  • The actress playing his wife reminds me of Angela Baddeley, who played Mrs. Bridges on "Upstairs Downstairs". Is it possibly the same actress?

  • 1.04 - 1.12 is the entrance to the block of flats my granny lived in the 70's, Watchfield Court, Turnham Green London.

Thanks for posting this! It may be old - But Damn is it Hilarious!

  • Marty always cracked me up. He was a great Brit that people the world over will always be grateful to for all of the laughs he gave them. We need more like him now.

  • I have heard of express flying but not to that extreme and to Hawaii looked like Hawaii, besides these were the days before Heathrow and even Gatwick were a twenty four hour operation so how did he manage to get a flight that late. Marty Feldman is one of the forgotton greats he was beyond genius he was unique. Brilliant creativity.

  • funniest sketch ever..

  • Brilliant! Marty was so creative, talented and amazingly funny! Too bad hes no longer with us. He would have been making us pee our pants laughing from so many more movies and shows he would have been in if he was still alive. R.I.P. Marty Feldman, July 8th 1934 - December 2nd 1982.

  • This sketch was part of the show that won /The Golden Rose Of Montreux/ Comedy Award in the late 1960s. One of the highest accolades in the World of humour. You can see that Buster Keaton was Marty's main influence. Feldman was unique.

  • Every man needs a hobby to get his mind off of the everyday things.

  • And that is before Viagra!!!

  • Marty Feldman did some genius skits with Charles Nelson Riley on the 1960's Gold Diggers Show ... I'd love to see those again.

  • This is the biography of South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford and his "exotic vacations".

  • cant believe this is 40 yrs old

  • Wonderfully silly and hilarious - Marty Feldman was brilliant.

  • Marriage.

  • Thanks for posting, have not seen this for 40 years , yet this is one of his funniest sketches as was the lightning coach trip to Margate , plus the long distance golfer !. P.S a Morris 1000 does sound like that when you speed the soundtrack up !.Its not a sound effect.

  • LOL F1 noises 4 his car!

Who is the hottie in the Yellow Bikini?

  • the marty feldman bbc series (its marty)

i think was the funniest work throghout his entire career.

the skecthes like this are so perfect, and watching skecthes from him puts me in a really good mood.

for some reason i didnt find his movies as funny as his skecth shows. (its just my opinion). He did what every comedian should do , make you happy , and his comedy did it perfectly.

  • Well Marty,

I remember this and your golfing sketch from days of yore, this has stood the test of time extremely well. You may not be with us, but maybe you've just popped out to make the cocoa...

  • Nice. What's the car in this clip? I like that!

  • Looks like an old Morris Minor made into a convertible.

  • I'd say you're right. I don't know much about British cars but I generally love 1940's-style cars, so it caught my eye. Thanks so much!

  • Wow— I remember seeing this when I was a kid, in the early '70's. When exactly did this air?

  • madly funny

  • Brilliant. He was a genius. Sad how he died so young. We lost a lot with his going. May he rest in peace. Thanks for posting this - I haven't seen this sketch since I first watched it back when it was first broadcast.
