@rizwan211 that is a very good question. when you look at man mdae objects it si clear that the purpose is decided by the creator of the object. The question now stand, are we created? if so who is our creator?
I think an analagy can only go so far. I would suggest if everything has a purpsoe then we should have a purpose. The only questions we have is does god exist? If God does exist then we must find the reason he created us. So the questions stands can we prove god exist?

When you go to an interview, you go to get the job, that would be your purpose. there for you need to know how to get there and how to get back and also what you need to know for the interview. what you don't need is the purpose of the interviewer and this wont affect your choices. So knowing what gods purpose is not relevant as it doesn't change your actions or decisions.

@rizwan211 Surely God is not just an interviewer. He runs the business. If I go to an interview without knowing what the purpose of the business is, I'm clearly not going to get the job.
If you are interested in serving Him rather than yourself I'd say you need to know His purpose.

And I think you should not confuse goals with purpose, especially in relation to such a monumental question...
