I'm frustrated with the fact that the only english texts I can find about Korean history are about the Korean war (its the stuff prior to that thats more interesting to me!)
The only one I have found was "A New History of Korea" by Ki-baik Lee
I don't think so. The Korean plans to remake triple-story version of turtle ship next time. It's getting bigger and bigger now. Don't exaggerate the tiny Korean crap as if having been a gigantic monster!
Do you know the description of turtle ship is only found in Japanese literature? None of Korean literature wrote about it. Of course there is no ship left now. The truth is that nobody knows about the shape, size, and the details of the ship. This ship is no more than the Korean fantasy.
@NoNoSpice Korean government could locate where the ship sank( someone set bomb inside) in 1973, tried to restore with US diver's help, but because of too much turbulence, they could not restore it. The picture taken by laser showed the same shape described in the documents.
@NoNoSpice if the japanese wrote about it, it's true because japan at that time, used to record things very honestly. plus if the enemy wrote about it, it would mean that it was true as it's talking about an enemy ship
@NoNoSpice There's various record about turtle-ship historically including Admiral Lee's war diary. Your guys also kept a good record as others said. And yes, they found the remains under the sea and has done accurate study of it. They simply hasn't brought it up to the surface yet. They are trying. As usual, you're misinformed and ignorant about all things Korean.
