This only refers to people that have Windows XP and older. Also, the only way to truly get "Faster" internet speed is through your ISP. If you are paying for say 30+ mbps and have XP, and do not get the speed, you would want to do this. If you have Windows 7 or even Vista, this will not do anything for you.

This program shows mbps instead of a number now. Also mine defaulted at 3mbps ( 3000 ) so I didnt try it. I might try "optimal" settings later though.

in windows vista it says not 2000 or 4000. It says 5mbps and so on
