  • I wish I could bring my pet dog back to life from death like they did with Spock!

  • Fantastic!

  • I almost started crying watching this...

NO SPOCK, DON'T GO!!!! PLEASE! I NEED YOU!!!!

  • Very good timing! My compliment!

  • Good choice paring this movie with the song. Also good job on the editing job. It's a very nice effect.

  • great work, much enjoyed that.

  • Well done!

  • This is so perfect! I love Evanescance almost as much as Star Trek!

  • I had a thought this would have been a perfect song for seven of nine especially when she discovering her humanity or when she embraces chachotay and how she feels lost without him perhaps one of these suguestion for a future video maybe

  • lets see them bring the planet Vulcan and Lady Amanda back to life in the next Star Trek movie too.

  • I still can't watch Wrath of Khan without crying at the end

  • amazing!

  • 1:01 / 4:19 was my favorite part.

Yes it was sad, but I have always liked drama.

  • I really liked the video!

  • can you watch the star trek movies on line

  • is there a site were you can watch all

     the star trek movies

  • squee!

    I loved it.

  • Excellent job! The only thing I would change is at the end where the music fades out and the crew are gathered around Spock, I would mix in the sound clip with the video of Spock saying, "Jim. Your name is Jim." Otherwise, job well done!!

  • @WFTC29 Agree!

  • I always thought ST 3 was just OK. But your vid points our so many great things about the movie that I'm reevaluating ST3 from OK to Darn Good!

  • ST3 has always been my fav ST-movie because it portrayss the greatest lovestory of the whole ST-franchise... Kirk and Spock.

  • V good for a first video!

  • "how can you look into my eyes like open doors?"

that was cool how that line coincided with the photon topedo casket running along its track while the bereft kirk looked on: the lights on the torpeado looked like eyes too looking back.

did you mean to do that or is it a coincedence? i thought it was cool ;)

  • No, that wasn't a coincidence and you are the first who noticed it :) If you watch it again you will be able to see more "coincidences". Enjoy! :)

  • I liked it. One thing you might have considered is cutting to the audio from the movie at the end... There are TONS of poignant moments that you could have taken the audio from. :) It would have left you with a little different flavor rather then the silence of your credits.

Otherwise, I enjoyed the cut aways and some of the syncing you did with some of the action. Nicely done.

  • Not too bad! Keep up the good editing!

  • likink park + evanesences + star trek=sounds rocks!!!!

  • likink park + evanesences + star trek=NOOO!!!!

  • Why "NOOO!!!!" ?

  • Because

James Horner + Jerry Goldsmith + Star Trek= this sound will always rock!!!!

  • I agree with that. :)

  • Another great video!

  • Dude. Make more videos like this.

Seriously. Some of us NEED them.

Some Linkin Park would be good.

  • ooo

    linkin park!!

    agreed.

  • The used to be such a wonderful video featuring picard and the borg and i think the song was crawling on youtube but unfortunately it was pulled before i had the wit to download it.

Do you know the one i mean?

  • AGREED! This is fantastic! More please!

  • Pretty good. First time I ever listened to a song by Evanescence, even though my friend keeps talking about it. The video was good though.

  • verry nice

  • Excellent job!!!

  • This was so sad when I saw this movie. SPOCK RULES!

  • yes i find it hard to watch those scenes even now.

  • I enjoyed this. A good while ago I posted a youtube clip of Kirk's eulogy to Spock and commented on the themes in Treks II and III - it is nice to see other people get that, too. Friendship, loyalty, sacrifice . . .

May I say I particularly enjoyed your editing from 1:28 to 1:43 of Kirk's sombre moments as the Enterprise limps home. Good luck with future videos!

  • i agree, these films have the most poignant depiction of friendship i have seen and i tend to think this is true in all of star trek as well.

I think star trek 11 will be mega ;)

  • Simply Awesome !!!!!!!!!

  • Wow! Thank you :)

  • awesome vid! luv it! the song was perfect for this movie. thanks for putting it on here.

  • i luv this vid! it is so awesome. i cant stop watching it. ive shown it to some of my friends and they are in love with it. the song is perfect.

  • i grew up watching these movies, and this one was, and still is, one of my top faves. Perfect perfect song, it was very emotional. Well Done!

  • Great video

  • Your pacing is good. Well done.

  • Thanks a lot everybody!

  • Very well done! Thank you for the post.

  • I like the part when the interprized crashed and they found this rumlian ship

  • enterprise and romulan. and when was that? maybe you're thinking a different movie or something?

  • What do you mean?

  • um, there was a comment, but it's gone now. they said intirprise and rimulin. i think they were talking about a different movie. i can't remember what they were talking about, though.

  • i think it's a klingon bird of prey but calling it romulan is appropriate because in the old ST episode 'journey to babel' Spock remarked the romulans were using a klingon design ;)

Also romulans and klingons are functionally similar in star trek since i gather JJ Abrams considered a klingon adversary for star trek 11 but chose to use a romulan instead because klingons have already been done. :)

And your spelling could be correct probably being closer to the way the romulans say it ;)

  • Awesome! Good song for this film. :)

  • excelent, very well done indeed

  • Pretty cool, really nice song and your edition is excellent, keep doing this cool stuff and please let me know when you upload another cool video

  • *yawns* huh, what's going on? *stretches*

  • hi i am intrested in your negative reaction to this video. may i ask if you enjoyed star trek 2 and 3?

I'd like to know if you were moved by those films because it would be interesting if you were and then for that profound emotion to be lost on you in translation to this video.

  • Nicely done !

one of my favourite songs !

  • very cool

  • Yee wounderful

  • Wonderful Video!!!

  • Mpravo koritsaki mou ! Exeis talento.

    Alexandros Molfessis

  • Thanks gia ta kala sou logia :)

  • Great video im not a fan of star trek but its god

  • pehaps you meant to say good, but i do agree it is in a class of its own and replete with superlatives.

  • Great video! STIII isn't a popular movie, but it's my favourite, and a great choice of music and good editing. Well done.

  • When the vulcans separate Bones from Spock, doe anyone think it resembles that scene from ET when the doctors separate Elliot from ET?

  • yes i think they have the significant parallels now you mention it. Thanks for pointing that out :)

  • I think this is the bext of all the Trek movies! Thanks for posting!!

  • I don't like Star Trek

  • so wtf r du doin watchin this! go away!

Im not a heavy trek fan but i do like the films! First contact is the best followed by Karn the the rest of the trilogy includin search for spock n voyage home!

  • But i do respect that you gave it another try. It always amazes me how people can watch the same thing and come away with profoundly opposite experiences. But i guess evolution teaches us that in diversity there is strength.

Can you comment on something 'opposite' you find very enjoyable (you can post it to me privately if you like): I would like to see if i like something opposite to star trek and possibly create a sort of 'spectrum of nerdism' hee hee.

May you life long and prosper ;)
