@franticsavage you don't need a controller to have fun with UltraMixer. Actually, it's much nicer and direct controlled with a controller.

Is this ultramixer running on linux? would it work on linux? How does it cope with the fact that the HC4500 doesn't have any crossfaders, does ultramixer use the sound cards in the hc4500?

@roesljas Yes UltraMixer is running on Linux. HC4500 has indeed no crossfaders, you can actually use the AutoDJ+ Next Button (on the HC4500) to do this. UltraMixer can use the internal soundcard as well.

i got denon dh-hc 4500 w/ virtual dj set up and after a few hours of playing the sound starts to fade. i think its the denon product or do you think its my set up?

hey i have ultramixer proessional, once i edit a song, is there any way to save it so i can then play it in itunes ?

What do you mean with "edit a song"? You can play all your songs in UltraMixer in iTunes too. To record your mixing in UltraMixer, you have to use external tools like Audacity. But we are working on the feature called "Mix Recording". It will be possible in one of the future versions of UltraMixer.

Will this program run on Linux at all? I'm currently using Tractor but thinking of dual-booting linux on Vista and see how it works, this way if I rent out my sound system to anyone with my music I'll have them run Linux, that way I won't risk having any personal information tampered with :-) Great tunes by the way
