This is really hard for someone who doesn't speak english in his own country. My English is well, but I have to say that this is really hard to understand.
@FlorianThaStud12 I quite agree with you on that one. But, they are programming jargon not generally everyday English language. So, they stutter when trying to make good sentences - like when the first instructor says wanted to and later says want to.
First: Anyone who can say "Say we have a fancy dict that is a subclass of dict to define a method to create a dict from a set of keys." 44:53 and not bust up laughing gets a thumbs up from me. The Python language, while object-oriented, is fundamentally different from both C++ and Java. The dynamic and introspective nature of Python allow for language mechanics unlike that of static languages. This talk aims to enlighten programmers new to Python about these fundamentals, the language mechanics that flow from them and how to effectively put those to use. Among the topics covered are duck-typing, interfaces, descriptors, decorators, metaclasses, r
I installed Ubuntu 10.10 on my PC about 4 days ago. Coming from Windows I was a little sceptical at first. After I figured out how to use the terminal I was amazed and realised that Linux is 1000x better than Windows. I started learning python also and it is addicting hahaha.
I am trying to learn python, but don't know where to start. What is python good for? And I'm looking at objective-c to develop apps for iPhone that's my reason to learn objective-c,
i want to watch this vid but i dont have the time right now im just learning about programing i am trying to learn and i am determand to figure it out if someone could give me a site or somthing to go to that would be helpful.
python is good choice for hobbysts and proffesionalists - try to look my video 'molecular dynamics in python-now'
I mixed there two programming styles: functional programming for create cristal net of triangles bounds, and procedural programming used in simulation.
In fact - it has no v.fast performace, but if you want performance you should choose pure C. Yeah! :)
