Also, Japan has very little help for people who are having stress problems. It's all about just sweeping it under the rug and making it shiny to them. The pressure there is so high. Even in schools you got your grades posted for ALL to see...if you suck, well people will know. It can be motivational...but at the same time a very downer for the self esteem. They go to school from 8-3 then after school activities from 4-6 then cram school from 7 -10... (avg time frames) It sux. :(
