  • Great video...short and sweet! Ladies out there if you think you can't install a faucet think twice! i did it for the first time and with the help of this video i can now say i've installed a kitchen faucet....to my husband! ;)

  • Liked the video....after installing the faucet, the hot water pulses when turned on...any suggestions as to what I might have done wrong?

  • @gbghh3489 It sounds like you have some air in the line. Try running the water for a few minutes. If that doesn't work try disconnecting the water line and reconnecting.

Thank you for watching the Lowe’s YouTube Channel. –Lowe’s

  • Great video but I couldn't figure out how to get this working with my retro encabulator. I don't think I put the prefabulated amulite in the right spot. Otherwise, the spurving bearings may be defective.

  • Could someone please help a linguistically challenged Limey and explain where the word faucet came from?? Where I come from we call it a tap.

  • I'd like to replace my faucet with this one( 3 holes under the sink) How much is this particular one?

  • Fantastic video; just what I needed. I kept my laptop near me the whole time, and stopped at each point. I got stuck taking out my old faucet - I actually used a socket wrench to get off a massive nut & bolt anchoring the faucet - it was over 2" long!

  • I could not remove the old faucet, although I have removed the nuts underneath, is there a way you can elaborate on what some faucets that need to remove some nuts and bolts from above?

  • you guys should check out/carry speedyvalves they make this job easy

  • when do you need teflon tape...and whats the difference between plumbers putty and silicone caulk? The directions say to use caulk...(same faucet as in video)

  • Good video Mike. I think everyone will be helped in a way that is in the video

  • Good video Thanks a lot!!

  • home depos video was better

  • I could not install my own faucet without this video. One step at a time. This dude made it easy! THANKS LOWES!!!

  • Ohh he's hot!

  • i installed a kitchen faucet.I had no problems, but the faucet(a price-pfister)has not held up well. The bushing is disposable, the deckplate is flimsy and the gasket is foam, and the unit has begun seeping water after only 4 or 5 years. My neighbors moen is much better constructed.Dont buy a price pfister,a piece of shit

  • The material list is very helpful. Easy to follow.

  • if mine didn't have a different nut holding it in place id easily be able to go by this video

  • Everyone should have a 'Mike' as a next door neighbour, I love this guy!

  • This video is very educational. Thank you Lowes for helping our DIY projects.

  • Great video. Never replaced a kitchen faucet before so it was very informative and helpful. Only problem I ran into were that the plastic nuts holding the faucet down were sold old and brittle they were stuck, and broke when I used the basin wrench. Ended up using a drill, a screwdriver, and a hammer to get the suckers off. Otherwise, it all went smoothly, and the old, ugly, leaking Delta faucet has been replaced by a nice, new Moen. Thanks Lowes!

  • @hanyoukimura I got a cool Moen..I figured since a kitchen is always there and seen may as well get a good one, so I got a fancy one :-)

  • @hanyoukimura

yes, good video, but really glad i read ur comment! i couldnt get the lines loose, (rusted on, too tight) and the white nuts wouldnt slide over it, so i had to break them off. i used, garden clippers, screwdriver and pliars; although i did consider a drill, if i couldnt pull them these off!!! i did find the basin wrench handy, but i sure couldve used some torque that a guy has, so was glad to know it wasnt just me!!!

  • He doesn't use the safety glasses.

  • bc they are not needed for that job. Just listed for "safety"

  • their is really no reason for the plumbers puddy on the actual sink. thats why the faucets have the plastic piece that goes on the bottom of them

  • I'm glad that Lowe's provides this type of information, but it's misleading!!! This is NOT an easy repair!!! I've had to replace both water cutoff valves, had problems with the compressing fittings, I'm working around a garbage disposal, and I can't get the old faucet out because the bolts are rusted!!! I've sprayed them with WD-40 and I am using a basin wrench. It's simply been one problem after another!!! I've been to the store at least three times and spent > $250, shouldn't this work?!?

  • Have you tried to remove the garbage disposal and drains? Removing the drains made it much easier to replace my faucet.

  • @saxophobe usually those compression fittings arent the best ones to use. people think soldering is hard to do, but its a lot easier than those ones. Sometimes after a few years, those bolts do rust out and its a pain. u r better off changing ur faucest after 10years i think

  • thank u

  • Great detailed video. Thank you lowes
