John Denver was a very talented and very lucky guy, and obviously loved by the Muppets. I think that, if he'd still been with us, 2011 The Muppets would have definitely included him.

Thank you so much for posting this! I bought the Music CD from the show when my kids were very little and listened to it every year. I kept looking for the DVD of the Christmas special in stores but never could find it. I wanted my kids to enjoy this classic comedy. Hopefully they will release it in the stores now that the Muppets are becoming popular again.

He always had the best specials, being it Christmas, variety, or documentary. Just glad there are people like you to bring these wonderful shows to us - just wish we could see all the programs he had done - wouldn't that be Far Out !!!!!!!

Thanks for uploading this! I first saw it on TV in (I think) 1982. My mom taped it for me and we both used to watch it every year. Loved it! I haven't seen it for several years, but I still remember the whole show almost word-for-word. And somewhere I still have a copy of the original tape...must find it!
