That is accurate. It was at 40% charge during this run. We had driven from Seattle to Portland 180 miles and only had a few hours to recharge. The next day we had an 80% charge and did 12.643 seconds.

The track officials didn't have a problem with the fact that there was no roll cage? Unmodified Tesla Roadsters are illegal to race at Infineon in Sonoma for lack of an approved roll cage and five-point harness.

We are fine at the tracks in Portland and Seattle until 11.49 seconds. If we were running 1/4 mile times at that or lower, then we have to have more safety features.

At 13.99 or lower we need to have a helmet on.

Most Tesla Roadsters will do between 12.7 and 13.3 on a 1/4 mile run. The top speed will be 99 mph to 104 mph.
