I tell you what I cycle to work on the pavement of the A5 (I only do this on the A5 as of how busy it is and the fact there is a brick wall one side of me and lorries on the other) and I always used to cycle past this policeman, I would say morning and so would he, I did this for about 6 years then he was replaced with a community support officer who when I said morning to, stopped me gave me a £80 and told me to get on the road, because of this I know cycle on the road and risk my life everyday

@jamesbloomfield89 He gave me a £80 fine!, but it does not matter now as I now drive, in a way its quite ironic really as the government want use to be green and cycle but they make it bloody hard to do!

i got chased by the police once because i didnt stop when they said stop,i legged it got caught and got a few digs,thats my fault for getting caught,i had a warrant out

look, i hate to rain or your parade but VPCs are actual police officers. also PCSOs can be trainee 'real' police officers. there's no need to be quite so aggressive - clearly listened to a little too much Nick Ferrari and/or 'read' the 'newspaper' The Daily Express. the title of which is about the only accurate thing going.

They get paid £18,000 a year. They arent volunteer. And they arent Police.

£24,000 for metropolitan and they are part of the police, they just don't have the same powers as a police constable
