Beautiful dog ! I am thinking of getting an Akita in the not too distant future , my shepherd/chow died a few weeks ago . He had the look of an Akita and similar build and musculature as well as temperment , he was about 95 pounds . I am just curious how big your dog is now weightwise and wonder if my wife would be able to handle walking an Akita or if it might be too strong for her. Let me know if you can ,thanks .

Thank You! How did i manage to break the Akita breed determination? Lots of training and socializing and just spending as much time with her and show her i am her leader. I also have a advantage because i am great with any breed of dog.

Yes Porscha should get a lot BIGGER....LOL! :)

Her mom weighed 120 pounds!! lol. And her Dad weighed 150! LOL!

So i dont know how much she will weigh when she gets older but Akitas are not full grown to about 2 years old! So we will see how big she will get!! Porscha will be 9 months old on the 14th of October!! :) Miss ya Girl!!
