oh you did such a wonderful job with this! it makes me want to do it over now, the last one i did was from 9 months ago. i think i could do it a lot better now, especially if i layer it on my keyboard with strings & synths, and drums possibley. it still wont compare to this one though....

Thank you! This is my second version of ICSNY as well, and I definitely see your point about how with more experience & tools to utilize, the songs can keep evolving further and further. This month almost everything I did was a refreshed version of an older video. I keep uploading but my total videos never moved up much cause I would "hide" the older one. :-) I'm glad you liked it. I love this song.

Hey cool, sounds classical! I like the middle part a lot. Actually I never have listened to this song before but I think I prefer Hotel better. It's so much more mysterious.

Thank you! When you say you prefer Hotel, do you mean the song in general or the way I interpreted it? Hotel is really tough because of the bizarre rhythmic changes and all of the strange chord movements. I had a to change a few things in its progression (like in Joga) to make sure there wasn't sharp dissonance with the melody & ornamentation. I used to prefer the song Hotel to this, but now I'm not sure. Hotel def. sounds better live, but this song itself I find is really strong inside.

JD, the lovely, shared your vid. You´re gonna kill me, but I don´t know Tori Amos. Well, I know her name, but don´t know any of her songs. So, I´m sitting here, it´s morning and I´m having a coffee and just thought, what a waste to listen to your magnificent playing at my breakfast table. This is for calming down, relaxing, cuddling, so romantic. It´s just floating, then becoming dramatic and epic. Jd´s right. You´re telling a story and each chapter is marvellous. Thank you Andre! I will not kill anyone. I did not know the work of Tori Amos until last year. I had heard a few bits and pieces but was unlucky with downloads forever. I tried to get into her but couldn't; I just didn't understand what she was about. My friend Chris sent me the video for Spark (I recommend it highly!) and it opened my eyes. Then I heard/saw more. Eventually, about 20 songs later, I was hooked. Still am. :-)
