@CohassetKids5 yeah thats ok, i'm from Iowa! i am 38 and a white guy, but i KNOW good hip hop when i hear it! in the early 90s i watched this movie called "boyz in the hood" and i LOVED the movie so much i told my mom "i am now a black man!" i kid around about it, but after seeing that movie i felt like i knew what it was like to live in the hood, even tho i have no REAL IDEA, i only mean it in saying like i felt bad for anyone living in the hood

That's what's weird about real hip hop heads. My closest friends and the realest hip hop fans I know (no lil wayne mess, they listen to C Rayz, Cool Pete, Aes Rock, Nujabes etc.) also listen to heavy metal as well. So do I even though i prefer underground hip hop.

I think the reason underground fans also like metal is the balance; real hip hop is peaceful, chill and cool and metal is angry and energetic.

@DeftJay I mainly listen to hard rock and metal, but i also love old school hip hop. del, arrested development, run dmc, wu tang, TCQ, de la soul, jungle brothers, tupac, geto boys, and so much more are just fucking amazing.
