This was the second (and final) special Edgar Bergen appeared in for Coca-Cola [who also sponsored his Sunday night CBS radio show], and, like the first one, was produced on film, supervised for Coke by TV pioneer Jerry Fairbanks. Announcer Bill Baldwin doubles as the "soda jerk" in the commercials. Originally telecast on April 30, 1951. After this one, however, Coca-Cola decided that Edgar Bergen was better suited for radio than TV, continuing to sponsor him until 1952.
