That's OM615 or 616 engine from W115 body, not the original OM 621 which the 190D equipped. Can't tell these engines apart from looking at it, but if he can provide the engine no. on the diver's side (LHD) of the block.
Das Benutzen der Oelmessstab fuer das Schmieren manche gelenke unter der haube ;-) habe ich auch oft so gemacht. Ist eigentlich nicht das beste das das benutzte oel ja nicht so ganz sauber ist... aber so0 bekannt :-)
