  • Bach at his finest !

  • ok omnes needs to be faster!

  • @oliviasmulyan :Ok... when you conduct it, you can take it faster.

  • @countceprano just saying. this is a baroque piece and usually omnes is faster then this. bye bye

  • @oliviasmulyan :It's a baroque piece? Well, no kidding! And Harnoncourt is a very well respected Baroque conductor. Like I said, when you're as famous as he, conduct however you wish. Ciao.

  • @countceprano ok.

  • @oliviasmulyan Actually you comment needs to be answered in a more musical way than just saying 'conduct it faster when u become famous as him' sarcastically. Harnoncourt does the same at the slow opening of Mozart and Haydn symphonies too. Those symphonies are supposed to have a slow introduction but he takes the tempo faster than the main body (exposition-development etc.) of the movement. Sounds strange though not bad. Not only him but some other 'authentic' interpreters does the same too

  • excelente interpretação de uma grande obra.

  • A fine performance!

  • Maestro's facial expression at 26:22 is priceless... GLORIA! Fantastic performance!

  • Magnificat!!
