Also, where is the Akphaezea or Darkened Nocturne Slaughtercult or Holy Moses or...? I could go on and on, but there are so many better female vocalists that deserve to be in the top 10...

@trooubermensch I NEVER said this was a top 10. I have 10 bands per video and these just so happened to be the 10 in this one. The other bands you mentioned (including Demonic Christ) are in other videos in the series. I chose these photos of Dana because they are from the Mythic era (except the last one due to not having enough from then) and Mythic is the band I'm featuring here. The video that has Demonic Christ (Video 5) has photos of Dana in the Demonic Christ era.

And i totally agree on the metal women being real, while mainstream girls are mostly shallow beings.

I say mostly, because i did have 2 girlfriends who liked mainstream music more, and they definately had more depth, character and personality than most girls who like mainstream music.

there is a suprising number of videos on this topic. Believe, I mean that in a good way. Its just interesting that so many guys (and girls) like these women. I think its because these are REAL women, with real attitudes, real opinions, and generally, they are very nice and sweet women, not unlike most metal guys. I met Tom Araya, super nice guy. Anyway, i tried dating girls that listen to top 40 crap, never again :) im sorry, music taste does matter......albeit not much

@supernaturalmonkey88 It's EXTREMELY difficult to get their stuff legally. I (unfortunately) would suggest downloading their stuff. Check out the site "Stay Female Fronted Because In Female Fronted We Trust" (just type it in on Google and you should find it) - you can find almost any female-fronted metal band's stuff for download, and Save is the very first band listed. :)

@metalhead7369 Interestingly enough, I'm the EXACT opposite. I can't stand when either guys or girls just clean sing. To me, death growls are the best type of vocals out there, and it's even better when a girl is showing the guys how to do it well.

@zitkalasa7 I do own two of their CDs, but it took my ex a few sleepless nights to hunt them down on Ebay. Unfortunately you can't get their stuff from iTunes, so your only real option (unless you want to spend hours going through unrelated Ebay content) is to download their stuff. :(
