I think this is one of those things that is bound to happen to a foreigner in Japan at one point. I went into a store with the intent to buy grapefruit juice once, and didn't realize until I tried to pour it into a glass later that I had purchased grapefruit flavored water. Totally bizarre.
That translates to a "lactic acid beverage". Sorry about your luck, but that happens to the best of us. I bought Shampoo and conditioner made for 65+ year old before...
I think everyone who's lived in Japan has had similar experiences. I like to buy random things that I haven't got a clue what they are. Sometimes it works out, often it doesn't! Enjoy your sweet cream cheese pasta!
I wonder if sour cream would work well with this... hmm... your accident may have given birth to the next best thing!

I was kinda hoping that you would have shells in your teeth when you smiled at the end. But you didn't.

hahaha I can get you some milk!!! I live in Japan, but on an American military base. It's the easy life of Japan.

I think milk is called gyuu or something.
You also could have crabbed rice milk too.

Wow! Still looked kinda tasty. Can't quit picture the taste of "cream cheese milk"... like a sweet yogurt drink I'd imagine. いただきます!

yea, I try to cook and fail. I always endup eating out.
But, I really need to start cooking at home, but takeouts are expensive on a student budget.

I had a good laugh. Too bad it was at your expense. Don't worry, though. Someday I'll tell more of my stories and you can laugh at me.

It all good. I like laughing at myself, and mistakes like this one with the cream cheese liquid are just make for good stories later on.
thanks for the comment.

What happened to your hair after that?
furetosan 2 years ago
It felt revitalized, almost as if I had the hair of a 28 year old again!
