Adopting that motto was one step towards a theocracy. Anybody who does not believe in the religion that is not the one taking over HAS TO RESIST, or else prepare to get their rights taken away. I am not talking about atheists, muslims, jewish people, hindus, sikhs, buddhists, wiccans but Catholics, Mormons, Presbyterians and every other branch of christianity that is not the one asserting itself most.
@bary1234 intolerant atheist, you hate religions just like those spanish anarchists who executed thousands of priests, monks and nuns, just because they believe in God? Mickey Mouse is my prophet, what are you gonna do? you will kill me just because I believe in Mickey Mouse?
@trifulquita15 : Off course I hate religions, why would I not hate them?
Just listen to yourself, look what an idiot and bloodthirsty monster your superstition has made you. You worship mickey mouse and advocate mass murder. You sick bastard. Who did this to you? Who lied to you about gods and mickey?
@trifulquita15 You do realise that we would resist an islamic state even more than a christian one, because the islamic state is more invasive than the christian one? Here in Australia, we have an openly atheist prime minister and not for the first time. And what is happening with the muslims? Not much. They are not taking over. They are just going by their business and not harming anybody.
@dangerouslytalented Not much? search Sharia law in Australia. Muslims have their own laws. This world will be christian or muslim because atheism is weak, the lack of morality has no future
@trifulquita15 Sharia in Australia? That group has absolutely no power, not even over other muslims in the small suburb that they live. I could go to Lakemba, their base, and eat a bacon sandwich and NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN. Sharia law is ONLY for muslims, and ONLY can be legal if the law of the country does not directly contradict it.
And if you are saying that atheists have no morality, take a look at the atheist nations. Very low crime rates in Japan, Scandanavia and Australia.
@dangerouslytalented i mean sexual morality, all those scandinavian countries are perverts. How can they legalize bestiality and homosexuality? I mean everybody has the right to be pervert, but its necessary to make laws about sexual orientations (deviations)? wtf. Lesbians can have all the sex and kisses they want. But its necessary to show the entire world that u are a lesbian?
@trifulquita15 Before you start squealing about bestiality being legal in Sweden, look at the law in Montana, Kansas, North Carolina as well as 15 other US states.
@dangerouslytalented American liberal judges makes the laws in this continent. In California most of people voted against gay marriage, but a judge - an homosexual judge - overturned prop 8. So i m not surprised about any law in those states. Seems that in Europe and Australia people agree with the judges!
@dangerouslytalented Funny how you don't see the Westboro church burning or attacking anyone using physical force or violence. Quite different from radical atheists and muslims, don't you think?
LOL "I don't find anything inconsistent about my reason and my deep religious beliefs". I can't imagine reasoning ever being consistent when based on religion; atleast i have yet to see it once.
LOL "I don't find anything inconsistent about my reason and my deep religious beliefs". I can't imagine reasoning ever being consistent when based on religion; atleast i have yet to see it once.
It's really worrying to think that the most powerful country on Earth is govern by people would are incapable of distinguishing reality from fantasy, even when it obvious.
In GOD we trust on the DOLLAR BILL. Ok so who created the dollar bill as it is today? Freemasons did. What/who is the GOD of freemasonry? There is you'Re answer.
@Jayn0o Actually it was added to the dollar bill in the 50's during the Cold War. Why? Because our government was scared of the 'godless state' of the Soviet Union, so to show our fondness of Freedom of Religion, we added 'In God we Trust' to our currency.
@JustMerpMan Yes yes nice nice... It's the same 'God' to wich they erected a giant obelisk in it'S honor. The same 'God' who is worshipped by pyramids and illumination... The 'God' of freemasonry. Most of the founders of the U.S.A were freemasons.
its race and religion which is the root of all evil, we should stop racism, and stop religion. full spot, we should all unite as one, no flags, no countrys, all one... earth :D peace from wales/UK
Why doesn't anyone have the balls to speak the truth. Any sane person knows the real deal with god. Fuck religion and anyone who supports it. America is chaulk full of retards!
@Thatsamistery "As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion;" -Treaty of Tripoli, 1797
Based on "the one true God" right? Wrong. Almost all of the Founding Fathers were deists, and probably would have been atheists has Darwin been born a century earlier. But we will never know that for sure.
he doesnt find ence between takeing things on bling faith and evaluating thing through reason? wel hes a straight idiot then. its pretty much like saying i dont see a diference between accepting whats true ans accepting whats comfortable to me.
Thomas "Tom" Paine (February 9, 1737 [O.S. January 29, 1736[1]] -- June 8, 1809) was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He became notorious because of The Age of Reason (1793--94), his book that advocates deism, promotes reason and freethinking, argues against institutionalized religion and Christian doctrines.
No matter where you are in life right now, God has much more in store for you. God wants to take you to new levels in every area of your life. He wants to give you more wisdom so you can make better decisions. He wants to give you a stronger anointing so you can have greater influence. He wants to bless you financially so you can be a blessing to others. Don't get stuck in the same old rut - there is so much more to life! God has new frontiers for you to explore and higher mountains to climb...
Cont: I can tell you with great confidence that your best days are right out in front of you! Begin today to think the way God thinks. The Bible says "The path of the righteous grows brighter and brighter and brighter." Think increase...think big...think expansive! Start expecting the unexpected and look at life through your eyes of faith. When you do, God will show up and begin to work things out in your favor. Take a step towards victory in your life today.
@ndrthrdr1 I'd take pleasure in doing this if I were in America; fortunately here in Scotland you're more likely to get a note with Darwin on it than God. :D
@tzvishlmn1 said " you are a mentally ill and very angry individual who needs immediate psychiatric help"
Wow! Now you're delusional about your psychiatric diagnostic qualifications too? How did you arrive at such a thorough understanding of my psychological makeup? Did you "channel" that information in the same way that you "channel" your magical superfriend's voice?
@conservthestate said "if it doesnt mean anything than why do you cross it out. that just shows that you understand it means something"
It does mean something. It means that we Americans trust (and therefore must believe in) an invisible, telepathic, magical, superhuman being. That's not true for millions of us Americans, and the number of atheists and agnostics grows steadily, while church attendance dwindles. Old superstitious nonsense (we should burn witches, for example) is fading away.
i think every candidate should explain what they think of the god of the old testament. you know, the one who condones rape, child abuse, slavery, genocide etc. all the fun stuff you never heard in church. read your damn vile bible. its the best promotion for atheism.
@VirAudax You are right. If Christians in the USA actually valued truth, and actually thought that lying is a sin, they would demand that "In God We Trust" be removed from our money. Short of that, at least they would demand that a TRUE statement appear there instead. Suggestion: "In a god or gods some of us trust". Christians, however, are hypocrites. They know the statement is a lie, but they're just fine with that. That's one of many reasons that I'm proud to say that I'm not Christian.
Morals are a universal image of of GOD. you could not have bad if you didnt have good? how then can you say we create our own morals? The truth is we break the 2nd commandment by creating a god in our own image, or you start to think your your own god. GOD there is only one, and he is the only one who is good and there is no darkness in him at all. We humans are just wet clay and GOD is the potter. How then can the clay try to command the one who molds it? Lord how i pray they would know you....
@fullymanfullyGOD oh good another moron talking about what his imaginary friend says thats different from what other peoples imaginary friends say. guess what? all your various imaginary friends are IMAGINARY FRIENDS! HAHAHAHAHAHA I deny the existence of the holy spirit motherfucker!!! But i acknowledge the sweet taste of the virgin mary's asshole!!!!!!!!! fuck you jesus robot i command thee!!!! i am reprogramming you! I am your master now!! give me all the money you'd normally give your church!
Now I have christian friends, I am not christian. NONE of my christian friends use the line "hell" on me (otherwise, they would not be my friends).
I was raised on the bible, and I wish the theme of the bible were more about jesus then the "turn or burn" mentality that has swept through its ranks, because that much of the bible (concerning jesus) is actually kind of a beautiful philosophy.
@vinsong i have no time to debate with you. I am busy helping out people, making a positve difference in life. I am all action and not words so bye...Jayv2012win
"In God we trust..." In god I will forever distrust. Based on the shit happening all over the world, it's blatantly obvious that God and Satan are one and the same, or there is no god.
I'd trust a man who is moral and good because that's who he is before I'd ever trust a Christian who has to be told you must believe in god to be moral. Morals are about what you do in life and the good you do, not your belief in some invisible being.
@someonenoticeimdead And following a set of written rules in order to achieve and award/avoid punishment(hell) isn't morals, it's called consequence ethics and is out of completely selfish reasons.
Christians with all their charity case do it because they think they are buying themself a ticket to heaven, and they don't want to upset God, not because they genuinly want to help.
And that is helping, but out of the wrong reasons.
@sh0werp0wer "Christians with all their charity case do it because they think they are buying themself a ticket to heaven" Now that is just a generalization. That's like saying all Atheists have no morals, or all arabs are terrorists. You can't make statements like that without knowing every christian.
@someonenoticeimdead "a Christian has to be told you must believe in god to be moral"
To think that man should conceive and conjure up his own definition of what is moral or good does not mean that all men have the same identical set of morals. God merely set the standard (i.e. to love your neighbor as you would yourself). Without God, the power of Karmic Existentialism (You reap what you sow) would not exist. As we all know, what goes around, comes around. Explain that one!
@Acecool444 "As we all know, what goes around, comes around. " You're discussing Karma. Karma is bullshit. Tell someone who was the victim of someone who is wealthy and powerful that what goes around comes around. Like someone who has been raped by a cop (it has happened, I know a girl) that cop never got caught, do you think he will ever get violently raped? Very doubtful. You think one day he'll feel bad about it? Not genuinely, if he had the morals to feel guilt he never would have done it.
@someonenoticeimdead Anyone who has caused harm to another living being in any way, will pay for their mistakes, one way or another, without fail, it will come! It's only a matter of time. You can bet your life, that cop (or anyone else for that matter) who might think they got away with a crime (Judiciously) , will pay dearly somewhere in their lifetime. We also don't know if victims of crime are also receiving payback, being at the wrong place at the wrong time. "you reap what you sow".
@someonenoticeimdead I also believe that evil is prevalent throughout the world, and innocent people can be victims of that evil. But I also believe, that God also gives us wisdom in these matters, and protects those faithful in being at the right place at the right time.
@someonenoticeimdead "I leave bad situations before they get worse all the time. Its called not being a dumb bitch."
Why put yourself into a bad situation to begin with? Sometimes bad situations consistently repeat till you learn how to handle them without being the victim or having to run away. Life is not about what you earn, but what you learn that's most important (wisdom), so you don't grow old, bitter and resentful and up end up another statistic with brick walls built up all around you.
One of the problems in today's society, is the distraction of all the bling bling, people searching for themselves but only getting caught up trying to be like the idols they follow. Mimicking the dress, the style and character of others and losing the identity of who they truly are. Cloning themselves to be accepted through stereotypical fads that soon change into something else, thus stalling growth, truth, wisdom and maturity of finding out who they really are inside. Most will never find it.
The problem with most people in this world, is being nothing more than a product of secular society and what it teaches. Under the delusion of a work, eat, shit, play, sleep and die, dog eat dog mentality then blaming God or others for all their problems. The way out of this, is to think for yourselves and not follow the band wagon of distraction and illusion and know that what the wisdom God teaches will open your eyes toward living a more rewarding, happier, safer, healthier lifestyle.
For most of us (consensus), "IN GOD WE TRUST" is not the problem. To be so annoyed that there is a God we we can trust but rather trust the very same mentality that is led by the propagandist corporate money mongers who insatiably thrive off the backs of the working class, forcing most into double income families (family life destroyed) and still slaves to debt. It won't be long before the money mongers lower the age of the working class. More income tax revenue for the rich elites.
Know that the "Fear Mongers" within our Government Military Complex (Owned and Operated by the Rich Elites/i.e. Halliburton Stock Holders etc,) who use "FEAR" to win people over to help destroy our U.S. Constitution rights, freedoms and liberties. It is not the "religious terrorists" who are destroying America and it's economy, it is the fascist banker/corporate take over and the vast majority of corrupt Government officials who are in their pockets. Wake up America! and don't be distracted!
@someonenoticeimdead God allows those who do not walk righteously in accordance with his wisdom to experience various troubles in life (or hands them over to reprobate minds), either to awaken us to better understanding and to turn from our ways (like steel going through the fire, becoming stronger) or to chastise us from our wrong doings upon others. Regardless of what you may believe, to deny this phenomenon will only increase your troubles over time until you fully believe. READ Galatians 6:7
@someonenoticeimdead In other words, troubles will increase or consistently repeat until you've learned how to deal with those problems. God gives us wisdom, to stay away from the appearance of evil. The bible illustrates what evil is, which could easily be defined as "anything that causes pain or suffering on any level toward another human being". This is why Jesus points out the 2nd Greatest Commandment, "To love your neighbor as yourself". Do onto others, as you would have them do onto you!
@Acecool444 These things are in all religions because it's basic knowledge from the beginning of time that,"Hey maybe we shouldnt be so fucked to one another." We grew as a people. Do you think everyone was raping and murdering all the time up until "jesus'" birth? Honestly, I think you're a real stupid cunt for even trying to change someone's views through the internet. Im going to believe what I believe, you can believe what you believe just dont affect me.
@someonenoticeimdead "Honestly, I think you're a real stupid cunt/Hey maybe we shouldnt be so fucked to one another."
This is exactly why this country is crumbling away. The present demoralization of society through the anger & hatred amongst the foolish and ignorant. Many are called, but few are chosen.
Calling me a cunt, is only hurting yourself.......You make your own luck! You will be completely ignored from this point onward.
@Acecool444 Every politician in the US has to suck the cock of religion to get elected anyway....it's a stupid question because they can't be honest about it.
@someonenoticeimdead Morals that aren't grounded In God are nothing more than subjective beliefs that don't exist objectively. All held subjective morals are created and held without grounding.
so in a way, you've just said that you'd rather support someone who holds morals that aren't grounded in anything and can't be rationally suggest or pushed on anyone, rather than vote for someone who claims He does have foundation and rational reason to push his morals on others(something a pres needs).
"This so-called new religion is nothing but a pack of weird rituals and chants designed to take away the money of fools. Now let us say the lord's prayer 40 times, but first let's pass the collection plate."
Reverend Lovejoy; The Simpsons.
Religion is poison. Its useless superstition and we have to end it.
@bary1234 Religion can't be compared to poison. That's like saying government is poison, or rules are poison. Like saying people are poison. Most religous people are trying to make a positive difference. Some do abuse religion, but that's no different than anything else. Don't be so emotional. Be logical. Your use of the word poison shows your hatred. You have to beat that before you beat yourself down.
@fwahoovaghad : I think that I have actually done more thinking than you here. I do hate superstition, I hate brainwashing of children, and religion is that.
Government is real, it exists and it is necessary. Rules are important, they are openly man- made and they can be altered and developed when necessary. People are real, they exist.
gods are a lie. They dont exist. Religions are based on a lie, they are bullshit. So they cant really be compared to anything real, since they are not real.
@bary1234 Actually they prove a point if what you say is true. Humans are easily able to be influenced. Just look at the news. That is brainwashing. Our politicians lie to us to get us to believe untruths to gain power. That is programming us to think like them so we support them.
Many religions blatantly lie to get support.
What is the difference between politics and religion? Not a whole lot.
Religion proves if you are correct, that politics is the same thing without the god/s.
@fwahoovaghad : Yes, people can lie about other things also. And politicians will make mistakes, sometimes on purpose. But with politics there is no ultimate cop-out answer to hide behind. On religion you can just say goddidit, and its over. Nobody can question you after that.
You cant use that answer about military spending or taxes or national budjet. On politics, you can keep on asking questions, and expect proper answers based on evidence.
And unless you watch fox, news try have no biases.
@forthelulz87 Gunfags? I'm guessing you're one of those liberals who doesn't go by fact, or common sense for that matter, and just uses youtube to pick fights and argue his masters case?
Don't insult gunowners, because if/when things go wrong, they are all you have left. Your petty capitalist government won't save you.
We live in a Democratic society, where the majority of the people are religious. So, the difficulty is keeping democracy, when most people want theocracy. The Constitution is the only thing protecting us from the zealots.
@TheUltraHorror559 'Fag marriage'? Classy. Since when is abortion a threat to our culture... since when is adult content dangerous in any sense of the word? I think you fit the bill perfectly, as a zealot. Someone who sees a rigid set of ideological beliefs, and not only believes they're right, but that they are so right, that they should be imposed on the rest of the country. It's your brand of belief that bombs clinic. It's your brand of belief that kills people. You are the enemy of freedom.
@ChiefMaverick515 --Since all freedom comes from God, I respect freedom; but what you want is called "license". There is a dif between freedom and license.
@TheUltraHorror559 You are so stupid... so stupid... it makes me embarrassed to belong to the same species as you. Freedom means being able to do what you want. And NO, it doesn't come from your favorite imaginary friend. What you want is to limit the freedom of people who are different than you. Gays, for one thing. And since you advocate theocracy, you obviously don't much like atheists like me. I wonder that kind of America that would be... The hypocrisy is disgusting. You make me sick.
@ChiefMaverick515 Abortion is wrong because it is scientifically proven to be murder. Yet some people who know this still support it. Including my teacher.
@fwahoovaghad Just because you can spell 'scientifically' doesn't mean you know what it means. It's the scientists and intellectuals who are pro-choice, and the faithful who are pro-life. Murder is killing a person, not a mindless blot of organic matter the size of the head of a pencil.
@ChiefMaverick515 Wow, how clever of you. Yeah, I know what it is. BUT it contains DNA instructions to build life. The life is in the DNA not the form of the organism.
The instructions have already been given, and the organism is in production.
Our cells constantly die, and are replaced thanks to good ol DNA. So you still think life is in the brainwaves? The Heartbeat? No, because it is our DNA that makes us live.
Our brains allow us to think more than a typical cell alone would.
@fwahoovaghad : We can make humans out of any living human cell now. When you scratch your nose you kill thousands of cells that could be potential new humans. Same thing when ever you put on your pants or sit on your stupid ass. Stop the murder, you horrible person.
@bary1234 Yes, but they are reproduced. When you destroy an entire organism (a cell collection) then they can't reproduce because you just destroyed them. It is murder. Scratching your nose is not because those cells reproduce to make new ones.
Destroying an organism is murder, destroying a few cells off that organisms structure which can easily be replaced is not.
@fwahoovaghad : So eating is murder, breathing is murder, you cant do anything at all without killing organisms. Everything is just constant murder so why worry about it. Perhaps we should just reserve the word "murder" to the use it was intented for. Murder is the unlawful killing of another human being with "malice aforethought".
@fwahoovaghad :Again,we should reserve the word to the use it was intended. "killing" a dozen cells is not murder. You said that the cells on ass that die when you sit are reproduced and therefore ok to die. Do you realise how wastefull human reproduction is? On every menstrual cycle we loose one egg. On every ejaculation we loose millions of sperm. All potential humans.
That fertilised egg you cry about, we can make it again. Women "reproduce" those egs, every month. Does that help you?
@bary1234 Yes, we should reserve the word for the intended use. Cells on an ass die when you sit but are reproduced. You can't reproduce the cells of a developing baby, because it has original DNA. You can't reproduce an aborted baby, because it has individual DNA. We can't control what happens to the other sperm, but we can control what happens to the baby which is being formed. Therfore it is murder, because it is intended killing.
@fwahoovaghad : Well, lets look at it this way: You said when it its necessary, it is ok. As in eating other living cells to survive. There are 8 billion of us on this planet, our overpopulation is killing all other species of animals and plants to extinction. Its very necessary to reduce our birth-rate by any means possible. Therefore abortion is the best thing we have after sterilisation and contraseption. And family planning off course but if everything else fails, abortion defenately is ok.
@bary1234 If we want to stop overpopulation, we need to quit running around having sex with everything that moves. That and work harder, if you work harder, you won't have all that pent up energy anyways. So abortion is a last resort, to those options.
@fwahoovaghad : I agree, abortion is defenately the last resort, and I wish it would never have to be done. But if there is an unwanted baby on its way to this world, abortion is defenately the preferable choice.
I doubt if we can stop our lust for sex. But if men for example would all make a donation to a sperm bank at 16, and then have a sterilisation. That would pretty much solve the problem. When you really want to have a baby, you would have a supply of the best semen you could ever make.
@TheUltraHorror559 : And exactly because of that we need to keep religion out of politics and schools and workplaces and medias. Religion is poison, it rots brains and ruins lives.
@photoc4js People like you can insist on stupidity all you want, but take a look at the First Amendment. Seriously, look. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion." Thomas Jefferson wrote of a "Wall of Separation between Church and State."
Most of the Founding Fathers were Deist. Which today would mean 'spiritual, but not religious'. Come on. Church attendance is higher today than it was back then.
@photoc4js Retarded. The U.S. was founded by people who were more deist than Christian. Put that in today's terminology, it would be something like 'spiritual, but not religious,' Church attendance is higher today than it was in 1776. Since when has it started falling apart?
What a bunch of liars; all politicians that is. I can't believe that people like Bide, Clinton or Obama do acctually believe in the God of the Bible. Theay are too smart and educated for this. This is another example of how religion poisons politics in the U.S.
In God we trust does not belong in anything the government issues. It is a violation of the 1st Amendment (Congress shall make no law respecting religion or the free exercise thereof.) IMHO. For those who say, "where's the harm?" I say tell that to people in Lebanon, Croatia, Kashmir and any other place where two religions are in conflict. It is better to not have religion as part of government (reason God isn't mentioned in Contsitution).
Joe Biden: "It means we just sent a fat check of American taxpayer`s money to God, eh ehm, excuse me, to Israel rather...because regardless of who is God in America, Israel is God in D.C."
because there has to be some meaningful purpose of this life and atheism does not provide that at all.
when someone calls some one to religion there must be some reason behind that
like christens, Jews and Muslims all believe in GOD but differ in few of the very important concepts
all of these religions when were revealed provided humanity with true purpose of life (which sets us apart from animals) know only exists in true teachings of ISLAM which is also a victim of its wishful followers.

In GOD we trust on the DOLLAR BILL. Ok so who created the dollar bill as it is today? Freemasons did. What/who is the GOD of freemasonry? There is you'Re answer.
Jayn0o 5 months ago
@Jayn0o Actually it was added to the dollar bill in the 50's during the Cold War. Why? Because our government was scared of the 'godless state' of the Soviet Union, so to show our fondness of Freedom of Religion, we added 'In God we Trust' to our currency.

It does mean something. It means that we Americans trust (and therefore must believe in) an invisible, telepathic, magical, superhuman being. Old superstitious nonsense (we should burn witches, for example) is fading away.

I'd trust a man who is moral and good because that's who he is before I'd ever trust a Christian who has to be told you must believe in god to be moral. Morals are about what you do in life and the good you do, not your belief in some invisible being.
someonenoticeimdead 1 year ago 76
@someonenoticeimdead And following a set of written rules in order to achieve and award/avoid punishment(hell) isn't morals, it's called consequence ethics and is out of completely selfish reasons.
Christians with all their charity case do it because they think they are buying themself a ticket to heaven, and they don't want to upset God, not because they genuinly want to help.
And that is helping, but out of the wrong reasons.
sh0werp0wer 1 year ago
@sh0werp0wer "Christians with all their charity case do it because they think they are buying themself a ticket to heaven" Now that is just a generalization. That's like saying all Atheists have no morals, or all arabs are terrorists. You can't make statements like that without knowing every christian.
fwahoovaghad 11 months ago
@someonenoticeimdead "a Christian has to be told you must believe in god to be moral"
To think that man should conceive and conjure up his own definition of what is moral or good does not mean that all men have the same identical set of morals. God merely set the standard (i.e. to love your neighbor as you would yourself). Without God, the power of Karmic Existentialism (You reap what you sow) would not exist. As we all know, what goes around, comes around. Explain that one!
Acecool444 7 months ago
@Acecool444 "As we all know, what goes around, comes around. " You're discussing Karma. Karma is bullshit. Tell someone who was the victim of someone who is wealthy and powerful that what goes around comes around. Like someone who has been raped by a cop (it has happened, I know a girl) that cop never got caught, do you think he will ever get violently raped? Very doubtful. You think one day he'll feel bad about it? Not genuinely, if he had the morals to feel guilt he never would have done it.
someonenoticeimdead 7 months ago
@someonenoticeimdead Anyone who has caused harm to another living being in any way, will pay for their mistakes, one way or another, without fail, it will come! It's only a matter of time. You can bet your life, that cop (or anyone else for that matter) who might think they got away with a crime (Judiciously) , will pay dearly somewhere in their lifetime. We also don't know if victims of crime are also receiving payback, being at the wrong place at the wrong time. "you reap what you sow".
Acecool444 7 months ago
@someonenoticeimdead I also believe that evil is prevalent throughout the world, and innocent people can be victims of that evil. But I also believe, that God also gives us wisdom in these matters, and protects those faithful in being at the right place at the right time.

someonenoticeimdead 7 months ago
@someonenoticeimdead "I leave bad situations before they get worse all the time. Its called not being a dumb bitch."
Why put yourself into a bad situation to begin with? Sometimes bad situations consistently repeat till you learn how to handle them without being the victim or having to run away. Life is not about what you earn, but what you learn that's most important (wisdom), so you don't grow old, bitter and resentful and up end up another statistic with brick walls built up all around you.
Acecool444 7 months ago
One of the problems in today's society, is the distraction of all the bling bling, people searching for themselves but only getting caught up trying to be like the idols they follow. Mimicking the dress, the style and character of others and losing the identity of who they truly are. Cloning themselves to be accepted through stereotypical fads that soon change into something else, thus stalling growth, truth, wisdom and maturity of finding out who they really are inside. Most will never find it.
Acecool444 7 months ago
The problem with most people in this world, is being nothing more than a product of secular society and what it teaches. Under the delusion of a work, eat, shit, play, sleep and die, dog eat dog mentality then blaming God or others for all their problems. The way out of this, is to think for yourselves and not follow the band wagon of distraction and illusion and know that what the wisdom God teaches will open your eyes toward living a more rewarding, happier, safer, healthier lifestyle.
Acecool444 7 months ago
For most of us (consensus), "IN GOD WE TRUST" is not the problem. To be so annoyed that there is a God we we can trust but rather trust the very same mentality that is led by the propagandist corporate money mongers who insatiably thrive off the backs of the working class, forcing most into double income families (family life destroyed) and still slaves to debt. It won't be long before the money mongers lower the age of the working class. More income tax revenue for the rich elites.
Acecool444 7 months ago
Know that the "Fear Mongers" within our Government Military Complex (Owned and Operated by the Rich Elites/i.e. Halliburton Stock Holders etc,) who use "FEAR" to win people over to help destroy our U.S. Constitution rights, freedoms and liberties. It is not the "religious terrorists" who are destroying America and it's economy, it is the fascist banker/corporate take over and the vast majority of corrupt Government officials who are in their pockets. Wake up America! and don't be distracted!
Acecool444 7 months ago
@someonenoticeimdead God allows those who do not walk righteously in accordance with his wisdom to experience various troubles in life (or hands them over to reprobate minds), either to awaken us to better understanding and to turn from our ways (like steel going through the fire, becoming stronger) or to chastise us from our wrong doings upon others. Regardless of what you may believe, to deny this phenomenon will only increase your troubles over time until you fully believe. READ Galatians 6:7
Acecool444 7 months ago
@someonenoticeimdead In other words, troubles will increase or consistently repeat until you've learned how to deal with those problems. God gives us wisdom, to stay away from the appearance of evil. The bible illustrates what evil is, which could easily be defined as "anything that causes pain or suffering on any level toward another human being". This is why Jesus points out the 2nd Greatest Commandment, "To love your neighbor as yourself". Do onto others, as you would have them do onto you!
Acecool444 7 months ago
@Acecool444 These things are in all religions because it's basic knowledge from the beginning of time that,"Hey maybe we shouldnt be so fucked to one another." We grew as a people. @someonenoticeimdead Morals that aren't grounded In God are nothing more than subjective beliefs that don't exist objectively. All held subjective morals are created and held without grounding.
so in a way, you've just said that you'd rather support someone who holds morals that aren't grounded in anything and can't be rationally suggest or pushed on anyone, rather than vote for someone who claims He does have foundation and rational reason to push his morals on others(something a pres needs).

bary1234 1 year ago
@bary1234 Religion can't be compared to poison. That's like saying government is poison, or rules are poison. Like saying people are poison. Most religous people are trying to make a positive difference. Some do abuse religion, but that's no different than anything else. Don't be so emotional. Be logical. Your use of the word poison shows your hatred. You have to beat that before you beat yourself down.
fwahoovaghad 11 months ago
@fwahoovaghad : I think that I have actually done more thinking than you here. I do hate superstition, I hate brainwashing of children, and religion is that.
Government is real, it exists and it is necessary. Rules are important, they are openly man- made and they can be altered and developed when necessary. People are real, they exist.
gods are a lie. They dont exist. Religions are based on a lie, they are bullshit. So they cant really be compared to anything real, since they are not real.
bary1234 11 months ago
@bary1234 Actually they prove a point if what you say is true. Humans are easily able to be influenced. Just look at the news. That is brainwashing. Our politicians lie to us to get us to believe untruths to gain power. That is programming us to think like them so we support them.
Many religions blatantly lie to get support.
What is the difference between politics and religion? Not a whole lot.
Religion proves if you are correct, that politics is the same thing without the god/s.
fwahoovaghad 11 months ago
@fwahoovaghad : Yes, people can lie about other things also. And politicians will make mistakes, sometimes on purpose. But with politics there is no ultimate cop-out answer to hide behind. On religion you can just say goddidit, and its over. Nobody can question you after that.
You cant use that answer about military spending or taxes or national budjet. On politics, you can keep on asking questions, and expect proper answers based on evidence.
And unless you watch fox, news try have no biases.

@ChiefMaverick515 Abortion is wrong because it is scientifically proven to be murder. Yet some people who know this still support it. Including my teacher.
fwahoovaghad 11 months ago
@fwahoovaghad Just because you can spell 'scientifically' doesn't mean you know what it means. It's the scientists and intellectuals who are pro-choice, and the faithful who are pro-life. Murder is killing a person, not a mindless blot of organic matter the size of the head of a pencil.
ChiefMaverick515 11 months ago
@ChiefMaverick515 Wow, how clever of you. Yeah, I know what it is. BUT it contains DNA instructions to build life. The life is in the DNA not the form of the organism.
The instructions have already been given, and the organism is in production.
Our cells constantly die, and are replaced thanks to good ol DNA. So you still think life is in the brainwaves? The Heartbeat? No, because it is our DNA that makes us live.
Our brains allow us to think more than a typical cell alone would.
fwahoovaghad 11 months ago
@fwahoovaghad : We can make humans out of any living human cell now. When you scratch your nose you kill thousands of cells that could be potential new humans. Same thing when ever you put on your pants or sit on your stupid ass. Stop the murder, you horrible person.
bary1234 11 months ago
@bary1234 Yes, but they are reproduced. When you destroy an entire organism (a cell collection) then they can't reproduce because you just destroyed them. It is murder. Scratching your nose is not because those cells reproduce to make new ones.
Destroying an organism is murder, destroying a few cells off that organisms structure which can easily be replaced is not.
fwahoovaghad 11 months ago
@fwahoovaghad : So eating is murder, breathing is murder, you cant do anything at all without killing organisms. Everything is just constant murder so why worry about it. Perhaps we should just reserve the word "murder" to the use it was intented for. Murder is the unlawful killing of another human being with "malice aforethought".
bary1234 11 months ago
@bary1234 No, anything you have no choice in is not murder because it is not intentional. It is necessary.
It is necessary to eat. It is necessary to breathe. We don't purposely kill doing these things, murder is on purpose.
fwahoovaghad 11 months ago
@fwahoovaghad :Again,we should reserve the word to the use it was intended. "killing" a dozen cells is not murder. You said that the cells on ass that die when you sit are reproduced and therefore ok to die. Do you realise how wastefull human reproduction is? On every menstrual cycle we loose one egg. On every ejaculation we loose millions of sperm. All potential humans.
That fertilised egg you cry about, we can make it again. Women "reproduce" those egs, every month. Does that help you?
bary1234 11 months ago
@bary1234 Yes, we should reserve the word for the intended use. Cells on an ass die when you sit but are reproduced. You can't reproduce the cells of a developing baby, because it has original DNA. You can't reproduce an aborted baby, because it has individual DNA. We can't control what happens to the other sperm, but we can control what happens to the baby which is being formed. Therfore it is murder, because it is intended killing.
fwahoovaghad 11 months ago
@fwahoovaghad : Well, lets look at it this way: You said when it its necessary, it is ok. As in eating other living cells to survive. There are 8 billion of us on this planet, our overpopulation is killing all other species of animals and plants to extinction. Its very necessary to reduce our birth-rate by any means possible. Therefore abortion is the best thing we have after sterilisation and contraseption. And family planning off course but if everything else fails, abortion defenately is ok.
bary1234 11 months ago

The United states of america was founded on "religious" beliefs and values. It only started falling apart when they forgot those beliefs and values.

@photoc4js Ever heard of secularism?
Go back to school and get your head out of your ass!

@proxymurder Apparently I'm not the only one that needs to go back to school ;)
The founding fathers, even those that did not believe in God... Knew the faith of the believers, and valued the integrity of them.

No.

ChiefMaverick515 1 year ago
@ChiefMaverick515 It is not stupidity, do a little research;)
That was to make it fair to everyone, being that not all the founding fathers were believers.

@photoc4js Retarded. The U.S. was founded by people who were more deist than Christian. Put that in today's terminology, it would be something like 'spiritual, but not religious,' Church attendance is higher today than it was in 1776. Since when has it started falling apart?
ChiefMaverick515 1 year ago
@photoc4js : Nonsense.
bary1234 11 months ago
@bary1234 Nonsense is not doing your own research on the foundations of the U.S. ;)

@photoc4js : Have you ever head about the separation of church and state?

What a bunch of liars; all politicians that is. I can't believe that people like Bide, Clinton or Obama do acctually believe in the God of the Bible. Theay are too smart and educated for this. This is another example of how religion poisons politics in the U.S.

it's so sad that we put our trust in god.....no wonder we're broke.

"In God We Trust" The official stamp of the approval of religious ignorance.
SilentAdversity 1 year ago
In God we trust does not belong in anything the government issues. It is a violation of the 1st Amendment (Congress shall make no law respecting religion or the free exercise thereof.) IMHO. For those who say, "where's the harm?" I say tell that to people in Lebanon, Croatia, Kashmir and any other place where two religions are in conflict. It is better to not have religion as part of government (reason God isn't mentioned in Contsitution).
drfoxcourt 1 year ago
What does In God We Trust mean to you?

@account5014 No, there doesn't have to be a purpose.
We make our own purpose...
