Hey Blitz, yes that is a replica of the Strat Jimi Hendrix played in Monteray. All of us fans got together and gave him this gift of the guitar case and the guitar. It was specially done for Bo. Bo is one of the nicest and greatest guys there is. That is me in the background screaming and if you listen closely I'm crying a little. He thought it was the case and as the video shows he was overwhelmed...and so very touched. His fans just love him soo much.
Yes it's not the real strat copy, It was done by a friend of the man that presented it to Bo. He had that especially done for him. We all contributed to the gift. I think it was done very well, you should have seen it close up. I was there and saw the actual guitar that presented. Bo was just so happy to get it. He knew it wasn't the real thing but he's such a great guy that it touched him so much that we thought about this gift to him. All his fans love him.
