lg1, in regards to the H1N1 strain I tend to compare it to the Avian flu scare. Missed that one completely but did come down with the flu back in September and recovered just fine. As with any virus, the body needs to fight it off. Besides, at my age my immune system is adequate to defend against the flu. Just keep the body fluid and TRY and rest (but with a fever kind of hard to relax if ya know what I'm saving). Whatever strain I had was about 2 days downtime with strength back by day 3

This Influenza A H1N1 "swine" flu is susceptible to anti-virals. Not all strains of flu are and it could mutate to being resistant.

I worry more about what he says at 3:54 where he says "will do whatever is necessary". That could mean enforced quarantines under national guard or something.

Good catch at 2:15. They seem all too well prepared for everything. And all these preparedness plans in place across the country. A real epidemic would start and be silent until it slowly reached epidemic proportions. Then we would have to discover what it is. And then it would be a while before a vaccine could kill it.
