i cant find the tuning points anywhere on the web! please halp!

well i figured out the conversion that was simple, but now the meter doestn show im dead keying its acting like a modulation meter, showing forward swing but no dead key, so does anybody know if there is something i need to do to the radio after its converted,i noticed cbrepair guy alighned the receive. anybody know the tunning points?

i just got my new cx-33 but i`m old school and cant figure out how to put it on 11mtrs, it came with a small plug in dead ended into some parts with shrink wrap. so can anyone tell me how to convert it

I hate 5 digit counters.

They do that cause the radio is too unstable.

This review makes me want one even more tho I agree someone needs to come out with another style rather than throwing there top of the line mobile in a standard Galaxy Saturn case. I like connex tho. I shot skip on my connex 158edx yesterday and made it to San Diego, CA sitting in my truck on the other side of Nashville TN talking on 38lsb.... AWESOME!! lol

They don't even have the decency to provide DSP based IF or SDR functions.

Its a 60 dollar radio that costs hundreds.

I've been giiving some thought to a new Base Radio.. I've got a bunch of old Brownings Plus a Northstar that I've been butchering up for awhile now.. I'd like 1 good base radio that I leave untouched.. This may be the one.. Thanks for the video.

hey I got a LP100A and my amp gets 1200W.

Whats your opinion on the "peak" watts accuracy?

also you see on the "before" tuned part, the ALC kicked in and the 42W was pretty much a transient peak.

After you tuned it, the power was much closer to the peak while you modulated.

I'm looking to buy my 1st base, is there really any difference between the Connex Saturn and the DX 2517? What kind of PEP can I expect from the 2517? What about the RCI 2980, is it pretty much the same thing? If you were buying a new base, which one of the 3 would you buy?

A lot of that depends on what you are trying to do.

If you are a SSB user then the 2980. If you are mostly on AM then I would look at the Connex.

I'm mostly a AM user. If I can pull it off without my wife noticing lol. I think the Saturn is the was to go. I will keep an eye on your site and ebay store for a Saturn in a few weeks. Also wish I had a digital meter like you have in the video. It's a custom built kit right?

You can get the meter in both a lit and built.

I bought the built one so it would be calibrated.
