Starting with Clay's appearance on the show, I watched more and more of Tyra's talk show and she really is a strong and phenomenally inspiring woman. I knew of her work towards building better body images for women, but seeing this video makes me love her so, so much more. As not only a woman but a member of the GLBT community, I applaud her even more. ^_^
And Clay, well, Clay always looks fine. Him in this suit, though, DAMN. lol

charmjean-A lot of times there is a dias for the speakers to stand at. That is something they can put their hands on. Standing alone on stage with not even a mic can be awkward to some. Clay did a great job with his speech--no 'ers or ahs'!!! (his hands are some of the most expressive I have ever seen, but it would have been inappropriate for him to use them in that way during this speech)
(continued) Clay also, at least from this angle, did not look like he was reading a teleprompter, even though he is. He looked around at the audience--a good thing.
Clay is a wonderful human being.
