Can you make tutorial with the end result- not how to do it but how it sounds after long practising like yours? After lots of vids its obvious- NOT. Lots of hq technics and no even one dj set. I really don't understand what are you busy with. Don't say- spenting thousands just to teach sum kids the basics of djing. Yes, very basics, i found out myself with 2cassette deck being a child.

I recommend putting some delay and/or reverb on the acapela, so you won't end up with sudden gaps and have a more of a fading effect when you stop the acapela.

@BluzieLNS The point is there's a big difference in BPM, and it's on vinyl, so there's no keylock. If you adjust the pitch control to get it in time the acapella's going to be in a completely different key, so J's showing how to get round that without a keylock

really enjoyed this.. explanation of the process was considerably better than the execution (aca was quite loud against the inst), I can see how this method would work well with cue points.

Had my first paid DJ gig a few weeks ago at a bar that I manage in Melbourne, Australia.. got about £40 an hour, it was a huge mix of 60's-00 (no house), but your advice & attitude helped me get through the nite and get 60 people for a private function going absolutely nuts!  I practised & they enjoyed :D

Another nice video. My thought is as far as beat matching goes, you either have the ear for it, or you don't. I have tried training other people to DJ and some just couldn't grasp the concept. When one needed to be adjusted, they would do the wrong track, or would bend the pitch the wrong way. lol
