i am about to fail my bio class because I disagree with the harmful use of animals in science. it`s ok..i rather shoot myself than participate in a dissection. teachers think it`s fair to punish me for being compassionate, their loss!
I go to Carwatha College (Australia) and am proud to say that they have never used the method of disection. They show the class a video on it, but it's animated.
this is the only thing that i agree with peta on. but instead of just making a video about actually do something about it like protests? but i will never agree with peta on stuff like not eating meat and the fur crap and no hunting. but this has nothing to do with any of these things....
@thegrahamisawesome protests and production of multimedia works maintain the same goal: to educate the public on issues of animal cruelty in all aspects of consumer life. As for actually accomplishing that goal, the outcome depends on people like you and I to promote healthy dialogue on these subjects (by, for ex. posting this vid on facebook), so that more people can access the vid. This helps peta spend less money on promotion and more money on campaigns that aim to compromise with CBSC, etc.
Everyone, don't just wait for someone to take action, take action yourselves. I already sent Carolina Biological Supply Company an email regarding their handling of animals.
One thing I have to make sure is that the video is accurate. Cases like these are big and rarely do they stay publicly unnoticed.

This is sick. these people steal INNOCENT CATS FROM THEIR YARDS AND KILL THEM! I'd like to go there and pick them up by the neck and throw them into a gas chamber and then stick that formaldyhide down their throat! GOD! >:( And, hopefully the government will see this and shut them down!

I feel really bad now. Im in the Pre-med class in my middle school, and we just dissected a sheep brain, Cow heart, and fetal pig. I feel so bad now.

Yes, my teacher failed me b/c i didn't do our dissection. And I would have passed b/c i was getting a D in the class and got an A on my final.
