  • @mariolakes Thanks !!

  • What's the name of the first ballet ?? I love the music !! :p

  • I don't have to understand every word...my eyes enjoyed this upload very much...thank you!

  • ballet is a universal language. and all those who understand do not need words to express.

thank you for uploading such a beautiful video

  • ): Waah I couldnt watch it. Oh well. (:

  • Well maybe some of us are younger and are just learning spanish... it takes forever to learn a new language! So don't be all judgemental! And besides.. its true, you never see these docs in english. Its a little unfair.

  • @julmastra no it doesnt i learned english pretty quick in like one year i had the best english in my grade i could speak it without an accent

    my first language was spanish

  • Why is it so important to know what they are saying?

Just watch it and enjoy the fact that someone took the time to upload this and share it with us :)

  • Hahaha! i speak spanish... but god i rather subtitles instead of that spanish accent!

i'm gonna go watch it in french.

Thank you so much for your video :D

  • @lollie87 I'm surprised that you aren't from America. You called Americans rude and arrogant while being rude and arrogant. That takes a lot of skill.

  • c'était beau mais un peu bizzar

  • ugh jesus its in spanish

  • En ingles por favor?

  • pues si no les gusta que este en espanol no lo vean....

    it's as simple as that!

  • This needs to be in English. End of story.

  • merde, je reive tellement de apprende le ballet!!

  • Does anyone know where we can buy this documentary on DVD?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm french, but cannot hear what our dancers are saying, the spanish voice is too loud. Lucky me, I understand spanish ! Would be cool to have english subtitles

  • TRY english cause I would like to understand also.

  • I love this documentary! I´ve watched it so many times! Although it could be better if sound were only in french with spanish subtitles! I love how french sounds, and I´m learning it! Gracias por subirlo!!!! Me encantó..=)

  • to All: i am very happy you enjoying this video

but i am not happy about your language discusion! i dond speak french, not even spanish and english is also not my mother language. i uploaded this in spanish just because i have it in spanish.

i will be also very to see it for exaple in slovak :-)

  • It is very good

  • i can understand it yay..but it's sort of confusing because the translator speaks with no emotion and i usually like to hear how the people are expressing themselves.. and i can still hear the other people talking even thought their voices have been lowered in volume...lol

  • me gusta este programa. Pero, porque la translacion. me gustaria mas si fuera en frances!

  • sorry is this guy wearing a padded dancebelt and support cup under his tights

  • No support cup. Just the padded dancebelt.

  • @otherthere all male ballet dancers should wear a padded dancebelt and support cup i do under my leotard and footed tights

  • I don't understrand why the cup is necessary?

  • @otherthere its for protection and i feel safe with a support cup inside my padded dancebelt under my thong leotard and footed tights i know it's sound funny but i also use it to help me relief myself when in class if you know what i mean

  • Wow. This seems like a great documentary. However, for those of us who don't speak French (I took German in highschool and college rather than French) could you please put English subtitles? ^.^ Thanks for uploading this!

  • At least the main video is in French. The voice over is in Spanish, right? Still can't understand it though. heh.

  • amazing coordination!!

  • bloody hell the dancers are good!

  • aiyoh leave it in french!

  • god i hate how all these ballet documentries are in other languages and with even another language for the subtitles......can sumone please please please put english subtitles up please!!!

  • welll ballet is french soo

and that was in opiras du paris so.. it as to be french

  • But that isn't french,that's spanish!

  • ok the language but the ballet is frenchh

  • That's not french though

  • God I hate it how all English speakers expect the rest of the world to translate into English for them. Maybe your frustration will lead you to take lessons in another language.

  • god, i agree with you.

  • OMFG i wasnt meaning for that comment to come across like that......u dont have to be such an ass

  • How else was it supposed to come across? Someone took the time to upload a documentary, for free, and you're demanding that someone else translate it for you because you don't speak that language. That's entitlement and it's obnoxious.

Plus, you apparently have problems with English as well. Did you want it translated into chat speak?

  • @Beccka uploading and downloading can take forever too.( sry im not speaking in proper english)

  • sure.. english speakers are so lazy to learn other languages well... most non english speakers understand english, and some other languages as french, spanish or italian... why do they expect when traveling to foreign countries to be spoken in english or have everything on the internet translated to their language? I luv internet cause i can watch and listen many other cultures and learn from them.

  • just cus some people havent learnt another lanuage doesnt mean their lazy, maybe they just have never had the chance, so STOP BEING JUDGEMENTAL!!

  • ilovealexanderrybak I know many, man y ppl. haven't had the chance to learn other languages or get inmersed in foreign cultures, i'm referring to those they have the chance and don't do it (specially some english speakers) expecting that everybody speaks their language. Besides if they have internet access to watch youtube.. they have access to zillions of sources in different languages. the cool things of da internet is you can learn different topics, different languages, and cultures..

  • well maybe some people just have not thought about it and have busy lifestyles so therefore cannot learn another language.

  • you right... i'm too busy to follow these silly and nonsense arguments... i have many things to do 2day.. so i let all the other busy ppl to figure out what the video says. If they don't have the time to learn other languages.. don't complain when interesting material is in a language other than theirs. (when you want to talk about a busy lifestyle i'll give you my weekly schedule)

  • I'd say the original commentator was being judgmental, since she/he was unhappy with it not being in English. Just because you don't know the language doesn't mean that people have to cater to your ignorance.

  • maybe we do expect others to translate it into english because not everyone who learns a second language learns spanish or french. I could understand some of the video but only because I've taken spanish for five years.

  • 'maybe we do expect others to translate it into english because not everyone who learns a second language learns spanish or french'

Would a Spanish person expect you to translate your video into Spanish? no!

English is not the language of the world, it doesn't have to be translated into the language that 'everyone' understands.

What about the people that are German and learn French as a second language? Do you expect people to translate it into German for them?

  • no, i didn't say that I expected people to translate everything for us. Like I said, I could figure out about half of what the video was saying because I've taken spanish. I'm cool with videos being in other languages. I was replying to the person's comment that ALL english speakers expect the world to translate everything for them. I was merely stating that some English speakers do learn another language, it just happens to not be french of spanish. So, videos that aren't

  • in english or the person's second language can't be understood. So yeah, some people request for english subtitles/german subtitles/whatever subtitles, not because they aren't trying to learn a second language, but because the second language is not that of the video. I really hope that made any sense. I kind started ranting. Makes me mad when people "generalize" Americans/English speakers as un-willing to learn. Cause that's not really true in many cases.

  • @lollie87

Haha, you english-speaking people are so lazy. LEARN other language, simple as that!

  • @PaidPal many of us do. the only problem? we learn spanish- the most useful second language for us in America. when's the last time you saw a ballet documentary in spanish?

  • @LMA629 Never, why? Do you know any you'd recommend?

  • @PaidPal you could actually translate the subtitles into english ( google translate ) & english , after all, is the universal language known across the world.

  • @MediaBallet

Wish I had time for that my friend... wish I only had time...

  • @PaidPal lol thats a little rude actually i think that is really rude. i HATE that you said that! Do you know how annoying it is to try and find the english label on food cans or flyers? Its all written in spanish or russian first, THEN english. (: im not racist. sorry

  • @BalletLoveXOX

Cute... Are you seriously that arrogant, or I just didn't get the joke?

  • Comment removed

  • @MennyJay excuse me! :O I am offended more that you are calling me american!

  • @lollie87 The documentary is in French, broadcast by a Spanish tv...what does English have to do with this?

  • C'est dommage je suis Française mais je n'entends pas ce qu'ils disent Et je parle pas Espagnol hihi c'est bête mais bon les images parlent d'elles-mêmes ;-)
