@MrTrolWut it wasn't recognizing javac even after installing but i fixed it now. it turns out in the system variables section there was already one called path that was something to do with quicktime. so i deleted it.

guyz there is another way rather shortcut to avoid setpath

go to cmd see the default address as in here it is C:\Users\Greg while installing jdk it will ask you the folder location set this location in there...

you will never have to setpath again....

many people say that it slows down pc but believe me it is not true...

@Bradstuffer Probably downloaded the wrong one make sure you got the JDK and got the right one you are probably using a Windows (x86) computer so try that download

Open up cmd and type set Path="(Were the JDK is located)"
