I'm jealous that you have no makeup on and still look that pretty. I've been prepooing since the start of my hair journey (December 08! ) Before seeing this vid I'd always used my best condishes to prepoo (which was a waste) but, Ever since seeing this video, I got the idea of using a condish that basically sucked for me, and using about 1/3 suckish condish and 2/3 honey, so it has a little added bonus (and works amazing!) and I get rid of the suckish condish :]
Another quick question...Which Vitale relaxer do you use? I've seen quite a few different ones..Mo' Body, etc? I use Hawaiian Silky which is made by the same company, but am interested in their other relaxers since it is hard to find.
no- not really a special product or regimen but I do think rollersetting, deep conditioning and stretching my relaxers has allowed my hair to flourish :)
I have 4a/b NATURAL hair; when wet it's just a mass of defined ringlets the size of straws. i want to try this honey deal, but of course i can't rollerset in its curly state. question: if i let it air dry, will i still have the "shine" factor?
Hi! I recently saw a post of your video on a friends Facebook page, the saran wrap tutorial, & HAD to say, WOW! Your hair is gorgeous! I have never put much work into maintaining my relaxed hair, other than shampooing & a deep conditioner here and there. It's a little past shoulder length and fairly healthy, but it's kinda stagnant and won't grow past a certain length. I've subscribed to your channel and will definitely try your suggestions.
Btw, what perm do you use or is your hair natural?
First of all, your hair is very pretty, so I trust your info. Secondly, I TRULY kept asking myself why is everyone using honey? What a sticky unnecessary thing? Now I know. Thank you soooo much.
I actually did a Roller setting video which basically takes you through my entire weekly regimen start to finish. That is pretty much what I did to make my hair super healthy and is still the regimen I use to this day. I made it into a dvd because its pretty long (50 mins or so) and I didnt want to have a billion small short videos. I think its a lot better that way!
Hi there, your hair is so beautiful and full, i think you should do a full hair regimen just to let us know what moisturizer, wrap set mouse etc.. you use. THANX
missed your hair advice, im sure when i first strarting my hair journey you were the first person to upload videos on you tube about hair, now there are hundreds, you atarted someting, also dont ever listen to the haters
ah, its ok. Thats what happens when you put yourself out there for the world to judge. It comes with the territory. I dont take it personally - I just learn from it and keep moving forward. Plus, 99% of the people I come into contact with are positive, supportive women of color and I am extremely blessed to have them in my life.
You are one of my inspirations , I have your dvd, I talked about it in one of my videos, and I truelly love what you doing helping people. I knew about you through youtube and LHCF. I love supporting women that are out there to help her people. Blessings and Love!!!
Beautiful hair! Thank you so much for sharing.! Would you mind telling me how you have your haircut? Also how much do you have removed when getting a trim? Your hair is absolutely beautiful. Inspiration!
I just recently tried honey and a banana! and it was a mess! I had to do some damage control because that banana didnt want to come out! I still have banana n my hair till this day!
good question. I almost always rollerset so I m gonna toss this question out to the other viewers? Anyone have experiences with honey and blowdrying/flatironing?
Love that u showing others how to get beautiful hair (love yours by the way) but i just wanted to add that for those who have lighter color hair (light browns and brighter) honey is perfect cuz it will bring out your light tones but for those who have darker hair (medium brown to jet black) and wanna keep it darker should use molasses instead it'll bring out your dark tones (ex. deep reds) plus it works just like honey
this is great, i will try this the next time i wash... Also your hair looks beautiful. I love to see women with naturally long n healthy beautiful hair. Keep it up your doin a great job
good video and yor hair looks great - i think i'll try the honey, i know some people use it in their conditioner, until now ive never thought to try it

Is molasses good for moisture or protein? Honey sounds good but I don't want my hair lighter.
mangachan10 2 years ago
molasses is good for moisture (I have to consult my notes to see whether it has protein). Molasses will make the hair darker. HTH!
