  • It's the FDA not the dairy's issues.

  • Guys... you always need to have a "bad guy" don't you? There is a reason things like the sale of raw milk are controlled. It's dangerous. At total of 24 dairy-related outbreaks were documented since January 2010. Among these, 20 (83%) outbreaks and 198 illnesses were linked to raw dairy products including fluid raw milk and aged raw milk cheese. Raw milk can harbor dangerous bacteria. Why subject yourself and your family to such risks?

  • dont worry. the fda is just making sure our food is safe

  • Suspect anyone who presents with a digitally simulated American Flag as their back drop.

  • Humans, as the only animal that consumes milk after breast feeding don't need milk at all.

The controls on raw dairy and other products is compete bullshit.

I want the FDA and other fools to back off.

  • Im sick and tired of all this FDA bullshit. We as americans have the right to eat or drink wathever the hell we want. Fuck you FDA we don't need you. Hopefully the people that run you go down!!!You are all corrupt bastards. You will fail. Get the fuck out of our lives FDA your useless, people die more from pharmaceuticals than raw Milk. And more people are waking up, hell and im young and real glad that I woke up to all this tyranny that is going on.

  • But how expensive is goat's milk?

Can I get goat's milk for the same price that I get cow's milk?

And does it actually taste good. I'll be honest, I don't drink milk as much for it's health benefits as I do for it's taste. I enjoy cow's milk, mainly for the creamy taste. I don't drink skim, nor 1%, I drink whole if I can. In fact, if half and half didn't cost an arm and a leg for a measly amount, I'd drink that. And I'd certainly drink raw milk. I've had that before, and it was good.

  • I bet you anything Democrats were behind that law. Democrats are big-time makers of ridiculous laws.

I doubt hemp is really a threat to cotton. I mean, unless you can find a hemp that is not mind-altering, those who oppose it will have ground to stand on based on the fact that in emergency situations involving fire, emergency officials and victims would not be able to do their jobs properly if they are being affected by the smoke by the burning hemp.

  • @formless777 i do not know where did you get that numbers. i lwas grow in a village with grandparents who lived in a good mental and physical health till 97-99. we still have people who are over 90s. almost every house has a cow or goat and drink raw milk and dairy products. in a cities all people try to buy only raw milk, if they can afford it. and i lived in belorussia. in abchazia, people drink raw sour milk instead of water. their life expectancy was over 130 years.

  • @formless777

Now that I think of it like that, that is very true.

    Have a good one (=

  • 3 farmers just got raided and charged with selling raw milk, she faces 6 years in prison, and the other 2 face conspiracy to sell raw milk, 4 years in prison...

I cant even believe this? They are on 121,000$ bail and they where Armed Agents

ARMED AGENTS for selling raw milk...

  • @theKOchannel

Raw milk is where tuberculosis comes from. The farmers in question know there are stringent laws against selling this harmful product to the public. They are all but colluding to kill people and start a pandemic. Raw milk has killed millions of people and is still killing millions of people in Africa, because it THE vector for the spread of TB.

  • @formless777 in russia almost all people drink just RAW MILK AND DAIRY PRODUCTS!!!! and they live for over 100 years old :))))

  • @galochka777

Thanks for the input Mr. Lysenko, please tell me then, why is the average age for death in Russia 68.98 years, and why are you statistically likely to die younger if you live in the rural areas than in the urban areas of Russia ?

  • @formless777 we call in russia milk - white gold. it is a brain builder, not destroyer like store bought milk. here i am talking about milk from healthy cows wich are fed on healthy food. in america a lot of farmers feed their cows by gmo soy and corn. you can not expect the healthy milk from such cows, even this milk is raw. so, if goverment truly care about human health, it is better to start from monsanto. it looks like all healthy food is banned or destroyed from nature coding.

  • @galochka777

White gold is platinum, not milk. I notice that you don't actually address any of the questions that I asked you in my previous post.

  • The reasons for the strict laws involving the sale of untreated milk are actually something I will utterly defend to the death. If you don't pastuerize milk it often becomes THE disease vector for TUBERCULOSIS that causes people to cough up blood and die slowly. So all you unwashed ignorant conspiracy trolls can go and fuck yourselves dead on this one, you're just wrong. This law was passed buy your forebears to protect you from a filthy epidemic that killed millions of people.

  • @formless777 why all the insults? just say your opinion for God's sake. now... you should research this before drawing such a conclusion. the statement you made is untrue. i did a TON of research before purchasing raw milk for my toddlers, sources including medical journals, and found it to be a healthy alternative.

  • @qddevine

Now I don't like the way that milk companies strip every lipid out of US milk and inject hormones into cows udders to increase production, don't get me wrong, it is foul what that does to milk and people. I have no issue with pastuerization and homogenization however. Those things are there to stop the tuberculosis epidemics of the 19th century. If you want to get tuberculosis, cough up blood, infect your family and die, enjoy your "healthy" raw milk alternative, sucker.

  • @formless777 bless you

  • I guess almost all Asians, Asian Americans, Africans, African Americans, South Americans, Native Americans aren't most people. They can't digest milk. it's mainly white people who have the genes responsible for them digesting milk past infancy. Studies have found that only semi-nomadic and nomadic population who herd domesticated animals for food remain lactose-persistent.

When 75% of the world is estimated to be lactose intolerant, I don't think it's "normal" or is part of nature to drink it.

  • You American bestiality-liking freaks and your cow milk. Cow milk is meant for calves!! Cow milk is not part of ''our'' culture. It's part of white European cultures. The blunt truth is that raw milk is more potentially dangerous than pasteurized milk. It is an ideal culture medium for many bacteria, especially salmonella, Listeria, brucellosis, tuberculosis, and camplyobacteriosis. Most health organizations, even most dairy councils, also speak out strongly against the consumption of raw milk.

  • @gongoozler18 "part of white European cultures" also not true! u must research that more thoroughly as well.

  • When I was little I used to drink milk that just came out of a cow, my great aunt would boil the milk and add some sugar and it was the best.

  • Here in Australia raw drinking milk is illegal, but raw bath milk is fine, all so bongs are illegal but deluxe pourer's are fine.

  • @ThePhantomLash Yeah, we are family!

  • i never tasted raw milk but i know babies survive on milk and good for your bones. i trust dairy farmers. they have no reason to want to hurt us. if i every get enough land i will get me a cow and have all the daily fresh milk i want.

  • hardhat, you can learn all about what kefir is by googleing "Dom's Kefir" Grains must be fed and cared for, so if you are still interested after learning about them let me know.

I was very sick with parasites for four months which lead to colitis, heavy antibiotics, and other powerful drugs. I finally chucked the drugs and drank 4 cups of Kefir per day. I cured myself, and I was very sick! Dr. warned me to take the drugs but I did not.

  • I buy 6 gallons at a time from my local farmer. I've been drinking it from two different farmers for three years and never once have been sick. It will keep in a very cold fridge I have for 6 weeks before it starts to turn sour but never spoils. (think of buttermilk) I drink two glasses a day and also use it with kefir grains to make the most probiotic packed liquid gold on this planet. No body's gonna take that away from me. It's all about the almighty dollar. Tell them what we want.

  • @monawachsler where do you get kefir grains??and wth is it?? i need to get my probiotics after taking antibiotics for months(for nothing..for something that the doctors still dont know wtf it is)

  • We must bring these huge corporations to their knees. Our freedoms must reign supreme once again. I am personally sick of having my freedoms extinguished in the name of corporate profits and safety. I am a person, in what used to be a country of free persons. I take full responsibility for my on safety and the hell with corporate profits.

  • @62636263c Amen!

  • Ignorant drones!!! Cow's breast milk is nature's perfect...if you're a baby calf. Also, it is important to note that there is still no conclusive evidence that raw or pasteurized, homogenized milk promotes bone health and lowers risk of osteoporosis or fractures.

  • A main theme of this video is that our government is taking our money away by taxing us until we go out of business. Agreed.

    -

But do we remember that the government is taking our money away from us by arresting us so we have to hire attorneys and have the neighbors help up pay?

    -

I don't see any difference between just throwing your money away and hiring an attorney.

Don't fight with your money, use force instead.

Force is the only language they understand. shoot. like john lennon said. shoot.

  • raw dairy is a pro biotic... not the kind you can buy out of a grocery store... Soy products are GMO and no longer organic... RAW milk is considered "unconventional" so it's very difficult to find unadulterated cows milk. unless you live on a farm or something... Not only that, the FDA are making damn sure it'll never come back.

  • I like some milk on occasion. I'm sick of our government and all of its worthless regulatory agencies. They're not helping at all. We can regulate ourselves.

  • They are trying to make marajuana legal but raw milk is illegal!

    Anerica is crazy, I'm leaving.

  • Milk has some truly problems and nothing is wrong with selling anything you want but a REPUTABLE owner wouldn't ever try to bypass the law, the pure health risk of raw milk and the trouble of hiding gallons of unheated milk is a crime in my opinion

Also if you truly want a waste of tax payer dollars try to attack useless raises given to people in the government. but you're a bunch of doctors that don't have a leg to stand on GROW UP and buy the cheap clean milk.

    Sugar isn't evil, but harmful.

  • you can't buy raw milk in the middle of sicily where i am. at least not easily in my knowledge.(never heard of it).

i remember when my granma was alive the man was bringing the milk in big metal jar. my granma warmed or cooked it but i remember it tasted so good!

30 years have passed now i have to emigrate to taste raw milk...

or look thoroughly where should the man selling raw milk somewhere

  • @SirSafer

how was it. did it taste tasty and good?

  • if it would be & have been "legal" (i think it is legal!),but importantly, supported & distributed, we could find it easierly than "normal milk". I understood the food mafia much before having internet but the damage is done.when i was kid my mom bought hectoliters UHT milk, hust because it is what she found on shelves. in netherlands on shelves one finds only pasteurised milk. we must reach the day when on shelves there'll be only raw fresh perfect cooled milk. there would be work for everyone

  • DONT BUY PASTEURIZED MILK FROM THE STORE-- PUT THE DEMON DAIRY INDUSTRY OUT OF BUSINESS- DRINK RAW MILK--IT IS SO HEALTHY -IT IS SO WONDERFUL -DON'T SUPPORT THE CREWEL ANIMAL ABUSED DAIRYS

  • 150 years ago when everyone drank raw milk, youd be lucky to live past 40

today when everyone drinks pasturized milk, the average life span is near or more than 80!

Hows that make you feel about raw milk?

  • @KripDrip hey fool read up-- the longest lived people in the world drink milk - and they drink it RAW - if you feed a baby calf pasteurized milk it will die- I have tried both kinds of milk and and I am allergic to pasteurized store milk- it makes me sick and it makes me sneeze -- so don't give me your bull crap story you ignoramus !

  • @KripDrip Two events can consistently correlate with each other but not have any causal relationship. If someone performed a survey they would find that the larger shoe sizes correlate with better reading ability, but this does not mean large feet cause good reading skills. Instead it is caused by the fact that young children have small feet and have not yet (or only recently) been taught to read.

  • Raw milk should be available in every grocery store across America. It's a shame our FDA cares little about us. Demand Raw Milk!!!!

  • There is a "victim"; factory farms. That could be who's behind the crackdown. If they feel threatened they can push the authorities to crackdown.

  • raw milk is so delicous legalize the stuff already!the only way to get raw milk is to own a cow or go to europe.i dotn know if they sell it in mexico or canada but in europe they do.but the point is...YOU WONT GET SICK U BUNCH OF PUSSEHS!THE ONLY WAY U WILL GET SICK IS IF THE COW IS SICK!

  • You can buy Raw Milk in Pennsylvania. For $5 a gallon! WOOO HOOO!!!!!!

  • @melissacarl2002

    Where in PA? Lancaster?

  • @Kelp25 No. Eastern PA. Between Younstown OH and Pittsburgh PA.

  • Next they will ban breast feeding.

  • missouri IS monsanto. they should change the name of their state. this is ll about monsanto, once again.

  • It's a shame our country has been reduced to the level of nutritional deficency that the powers that be have outlawed just about the only milk that's good for you. I have recently became aware of the rBGH in almost all milk that's sold on store shelves. What's next FDA? New meat called Soylent Green?

  • The FDA and other groups like the EPA are abunch of experts who know more and more about less and less and absolutly nothing about everything. I have been drinking raw milk since childhood, fully organic and never sick. Govt. needs to wake up. Pharma companies want us sicker for a reason/

  • The raw milk issue - shows up all the other crimes committed by the FDA. It's obvious they are happy to poison people - not okay to have health.

I do not believe it is about profits - but about health. Think about it.

  • I just bought a milk cow. Don't want to be without raw milk. We drink LOTS of it and are very healthy. A cow will get a family through hard times, too, which are here for many people.

  • Gov. says raw milk can give you diseases so we can't sell it others BUT it's ok to OWN your own cow/goat/sheep & drink the raw milk which millions of Americans are in fact doing & NOT getting sick. Can't have it both ways. Raw milk is either ok for everyone to have or not. In fact, gov. is working on stopping animal ownership, too, via the animal id scheme (NOT "dead"! Just renamed!). Going after milk sales at the same time - end result, NO ONE will have access to raw milk. Stand up & stop this!

  • @libertymtn - good point. the FDA logic says: no one, even on your own property, with your own cow, can drink raw milk. its insane.

  • Infants under two years of age should only drink mother's milk. After the child has gained strength and a strong immunity system they are ready for raw cows milk.

A goat by nature is a mischievous animal. Hence the term 'kid'. If there is any truth to the belief "you are what you eat", maybe defenseless children should not drink goats milk. The goat is used to represent the Devil for a reason. Research those points.

By the way, I do drink raw milk and appreciate your efforts....

  • @kmuhammad1003 Prov. 27:27: "And thou shalt have goats' milk enough for thy FOOD, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens."

Goat milk is the only milk called a FOOD in the Bible. It is easier to digest than cow milk & many people are alive today due to having goat milk as a newborn save their lives - people I know personally. Calling baby goats "kids" is an english word. Goats are very intelligent, not mischievous. Having raised sheep & goats, we'll take goats.

  • Our family's been drinking raw cow & goat milk for literally generations & *never* been sick from it - if your dairy animal is clean & healthy & being fed, housed & milked clean & healthy, milk from that animal CAN'Tmake you sick. With today's animal health knowledge there's no excuse for getting diseases via the milk - there're tests & vaccinations. Grain fed cows are prone to e-coli - stick to grass fed which is healthier. Don't fall for scare tactics! Millions drink raw milk & don't get sick!

  • I like it warm, right from the cow.

  • Big dairy & the FDA are wasting their time, I will never in my life buy pasturized

milk. It's raw or none at all. Bite me FDA.

  • Now an anti-Raw Milk crusader is trying to ban it on the federal level. Check out the video response below for details.

  • I disagree on the point of raw milk only in the fact that it is fed to children. Children are more susceptible to the pathogens in it and they don't have to choice to seek other forms of milk, it is forced on them. Further, E-coli found in the milk can spread from one infected child to another, making a completly innocent family pay for someone else's ignorance. Pasteurization prevents (mostly) infant mortality associated with raw milk. Raw milk isn't as dangerous as it sounds to an adult

  • @chrixthegreat ... actually lots of pathogens can and do grow in pasteurized, chemicalized store bought milk. Raw milk has natural defenses against pathogens.

  • @horsedesigns correct!!!!!!!!

  • @horsedesigns Lots of pathogens can grow in any material. Even the fuel rods in a nuclear reactors waste management tanks were found to have a bacteria corroding them. Raw milks natural defense against these bugs are the harmful pathogens. They protect there food source, the milk, and as long as the drinkers immune system is strong enough to fight them off, all is fine, but if it isn't, people can and do get sick. That is why pasteurization was developed in the first place.

  • I don't understand why raw milk is illegal, can someone tell me?

  • @fog0death Milk contains natural probiotics. However, they contain the probiotic of the animal the milk comes from. For example, the human digestive tract requires yeast, E-coli and Strep in order to digest food and fight infection. Different mammals contain different strains of these organisms. The human strains of these are probiotic to us, the cow strains, as you heard in the news, are deadly. We pasteurize the milk the kill the cow strains. They can spread by contact with an infected person

  • It's not illegal in PA thank goodness. I only drink raw milk - the supermarket stuff makes me sick - literally.

  • People rBST that is the reason. Its a growth Hormone. It causes you to age from 15 to 45 in one bottle of milk. This was tested. It will kill a rat if it drank only this in only a week.

  • "The land of the free and the home of the braves" is history. America is slaved by corporations. But corporations can go broke if we just stop buying their crap called "foods".

If we won't buy the milk from the stores full of chemicals, antibiotics and hormones, they will have no power.

Without OUR money they have no power.

  • amen good shal win over evil

  • Free the Milk!

  • Alot of African groups drink alot of milk. They drink unpasteurized cow and goat milk. When they don't drink milk they eat alot of fish including dried fish. They also eat alot of millet and sorghum products which have more calcium than other grains.

  • You stupid freakin hippies. Drink your G-damn pasturized/homoginized milk and be happy. It's un-American to drink Raw Milk. Ask Sarah Palin. YeeHaw!

  • this is also happening in canada what do people have to do these days

  • I am a vegetarian I think I need fat and protein

  • Wow thank you for posting. crazy America.I love raw milk.

  • This is pretty irritating. God gave us milk. It's the elixir of my life.

  • they need to look up....free man on the land..

you forgot to mention stores that sell toothpaste (rat poison) legally

  • Child under 2 needs human milk!!!! =^.^=

  • Right on! Thanks for the great info and usfull tips.

  • how "hard" is the milk in the Us pastorised?

  • You can get it in St Louis at Local Harvest. And it's delicious.

  • agree

  • Unreal! Our country is really starting to SUCK!

  • they want you to drink that poison from the grocery stores who lets monsantos control it. They trying to depopulate the world. so they want to get you sick and eventually kill you.

  • Thx a lot for the upload. %* and faved. Unfortunately, the kind of stuff the man in the vid is pointing at around 4:30 is what we are walking towards at present, unless there is a significant change of course

  • Wrote a song about it! "Milk Cow Blues"

  • That's crazy, I grew up on raw milk most of my life. But let's keep Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms legal!

  • this video isn't working

  • Wow! Yet another attempt at eliminating the connection between farmers and consumers. I hope this family wins the fight for their right to sell milk to whoever they want!

  • omg! sprinfield MO? i live like 2 hours away, been there lots of times, i got family there too

  • I will get my raw milk!!!

I will continue to pay 13 $ a gallon for it instead of those ridiculous 2 $ at a grocery store. It is worth every penny.

And I will fuck anybody who tries to take it away from me!!!

  • @yasnrohan I will fuck any hot chick that tries to take away my milk

  • @yasnrohan You will um... do that... to anyone that tries to take it away from you?

  • @yasnrohan We get our raw milk for $2.58 a gallon in PA and they're grass fed. 100% natural. Buddy you're getting ripped-off.

  • @yasnrohan I get it for free, from my bovine friend forever. I strained the milk last night and poured it into a gallon jug, and it is almost gone tonight! hahaha i love my raw milk

  • @yasnrohan Same here ....

  • @yasnrohan $13 a gallon? Wow...too bad you don't agree with science. Cow milk is the number one cause of death-heart disease-in this country, besides red meat and other fat-filled goods. Strong evidence says milk is responsible for maldigestion of varying intensities, leading to malabsorption and malnutrition, a # of cancers, asthma, infections, allergies, auto-immune disease, inflammation, arthritis, weight gain, many childhood diseases, and many other metabolic and clinical disorders.

  • @gongoozler18 Show us the proof or shut the hell up. I have researched this at length, and I can say certifiably that you are fulla crap. Unless of course, your talking about RAW milk. I see no evidence provided along with your diatribe.................................................................................67 and healthy as an ox. and dont even bother with FDA data, because it has been shown to be fraudulent and skewed to the factory (dirty) farming industry.......

  • @Earlw1001 A PubMed search reveals no peer-reviewed scientific articles supporting the health benefits of raw milk, but several detailing its health risks, especially for pregnant women & children & those whose immune system is compromised!

BTW,California requires a legal limit of 10 coliforms (fecal bacteria) per mm of raw milk, the same as for pasteurized milk. A lot of states dont have this law. How much does your state, if it is even legal.

Enjoy your pus, blood, mucus, estrogens & shit!!

  • @gongoozler18 not true. research says exactly the opposite. please research this topic more thoroughly & look at objective resources.

  • @qddevine Cow's Milk is meant for only calves. NAme a full grown bull or cow that still drinks its own mother's milk? Exactly. Soy milk has the same amount of protein per glass as a glass of filthy milk. Plus, soy is leaner, cleaner, & most definitely more healthful.

Cow's milk is mainly part of northern Europeans' diet. The rest of the world (75%) doesn't drink cow milk past adolescence or adulthood, but live longer compared to Euro & Americans. Osteoporosis is common only in the Western world.

  • why not jut make people sign a waiver like when a restaurant serves raw oysters?

  • Can't get it to play... Help...

  • It works on my PC, but if you really cannot, go to keepvid. com and instoruce the URL, then download the vid

  • oh how stupid...these people should be fired for wasting taxpayers time going after farmers. i guess Monsanto didnt get their cut out of the deal. what is this world coming to.

  • great book''the untold story of milk'' by ron schmid

  • I try to eat all organic meat or at least meats with no hormones! I also hear that Raw Milk and Raw Dairy is very good for you, you have to research the time period when pasteurization became mandatory, it was during a time when dairy products where contaminated due to uncleanliness. IF YOU CAN'T GET RAW MILK, USE ORGANIC RICE MILK OR ALMOND MILK, STAY AWAY FROM SOY, IT'S NOT GOOD FOR MANY PEOPLE.

  • @deannashm whats wrong with soy milk now..wtf...i love silk- chocolate soy milk....why is it not good for me all of a sudden????

  • @hardhatg69 well most soy in the US is GMO(genetically modified) so most soy milk is going to be bad for you!

  • @hardhatg69 I know the unsweetened variety of Silk's soy milk states that it's made from non-GMO soy, so some of them may be okay. I just recently tried kefir, and it was really tasty with just a bit of stevia added...kind of like a liquid yogurt.

  • where's the website links????? I wanna help!

  • Every food that the government has its hands on is killing us. The Processed foods, the Preservatives, and the drugs that they have to give us because of all the health problems we have from all the McDiets. Why go after someone who is actually providing a positive thing to people. I have been drinking and using Raw milk for years. I would be more concerned about the chemicals from the processed milk than from any sickness you might get from the milk. Raw milk has been used for 1000s of years

  • @shgibby61981 I'd just switch to soy milk if I were you - only the young of the mother cows deserve their milk - not us

  • Soy milk is not good for you . only in very small amounts is it acceptable. Whatever. I will continue to use raw cow milk . We deserve the milk because we are higher on the food chain than the cows that produce it.

  • Soy milk is not good for you?

Hmm...cow's milk - which is not natural for human consumption causes bone diseases and multiple types of cancers - they vary thing the dairy industry claims this poison stops. But they are allowed to lie - because they are exempt from false advertising laws.

Don't believe me?There are thousands of scientific reports over the past decades that expose how dirty milk REALLY IS-look it up.

Soy milk is natural:right from the Earth:Not from an abused &drugged animal.

  • @patzivota22 All soy products are not good for you.

  • compared to cow's milk - it's heaven and is always the healthier alternative. I know the dairy industry desperately tries to find links between soy and cancer - they'll prob. go as far as creating fake scientific reports - they are that dirty, and corrupt.

WHEN there have been ENDLESS and CONSISTENT scientific reports for decades showing milks link to several types of cancers and bone diseases.

  • nice clip, very informative and usefull.

    happy newyear everyone!

  • I understand what is going on... They don't want us to get hooked on something so good... We didn't have cows, but we traded hay for FRESH milk...When we moved it was sooooo HARD going back to store milk, yuk!

Oh, they don't want us to know that are kids can grow up to be healthy....

  • Thanks for always producing great videos , invaluable info and outstanding documentary's

that challenge main streams medias dis-info with FACTS !!! 5/5 *****

  • This is a joke, right?

  • @lorezapocalypse no. money can get anyone to do almost anything - no matter how ridicules it is.

  • e-coli is in feces. It's in meat because of how the cows are slaughtered... Which is really fast and shit gets in the meat. That's why you have to cook it thoroughly.

So, for e-coli to get in milk, shit would have to get in the milk.

Oh, and if you can't drink it raw, perhaps we shouldn't be drinking it any-fucking-way.

  • this is crazy D:

    I worry

I wonder what our rights will be when Im 50

  • I am an American in Norway....and buy raw milk regularly. It is awesome, I have been missing this all my life in the U.S.

Raw milk has lactoperoxidase which is a natural peroxide which prevents harmful bacteria from growing in it.

I have been told if you set out a glass of pasteurized milk and a glass of raw milk on the counter, that the pasteurized milk will spoil and grow pathogens quicker than raw milk.

Because pasteurized has no enzymes and natural protective substances.

  • That makes sense, what with the enzymes. But if it contains natural enzymes and such, it can also contain natural contaminants. I don't know the real risks, but I'm curious.

  • Aren't there health risks to drinking raw animal byproducts like milk? I thought there was good reason to restrict raw milk sales.

But then, I love sushi and somewhat raw beef and eggs. Why should milk be different? I don't know enough to say, I suppose.

  • @DeadlyChinchilla

you think that way, and so does everyone else because of all the propaganda... raw milk is the best, only surpassed by raw goat's milk which has even more vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and beneficial bacteria. pasteurized milk shouldn't even be called milk, it even says 1% or 2% on the label!! 1% MILK 99% JUNK. The media hypes up cases of Ecoli in raw milk (it rarely happens) and uses scare tactics and withholds information so no one can see the benefits out way any Ecoli risk.

  • I'm not *that* dumb. The 1% and 2% is FAT content, not milk content. I asked about the risks of raw milk and you skimmed them over as if they were nothing, and as if I wouldn't notice.

Ecoli is DEADLY, if you've forgotten, and can easily kill children and the elderly. Businesses with ecoli outbreaks get shut down regularly. "It rarely happens" is not an excuse for ignoring that risk.

Did you have an independent resource on this? I do so like real facts instead of reverse propoganda.

  • @DeadlyChinchilla

first i want to apologize if i came across harsh sounding, i was just hyped up to find a video on this and responded to your comment before even watching the video. I personally drink raw cow's milk, and only because I am extremely lucky to live near a store that imports it. it's sooo expensive. very sad to think my parents and grandparents drank raw milk every day and now it's a rarity. the ONLY risk I know of is Ecoli, and that it goes SOUR way faster. raw-milk-factsDOTcom

  • Ah, sorry too... I was a little short with you, perhaps. Its all good.

Thanks for the site, I will definitely check it out. Doubtful I'll personally take the risk, I like having a gallon last a week, lol! But I do go out of my way to buy without hormones and bovine advancement drugs/antibiotics and such.

  • Even, Missouri (not one of the top 16 dairy states), the state where the video claims the farmers were arrested, allows for the sale of raw milk. There must be more to this, am I missing something?

  • @kipnmelissa The ONLY way you can Legally buy raw milk in Missouri is to buy it at the farmers' barn/property. Transporting it anywhere off site, even to give it away is illegal.

Most farmers are more than happy to sell it to you and it's waaay cheaper to go to the farm to get it. Not to mention it tastes better and is better for you.

  • @RPMenefee #2 That it is misleading to claim that the ban or restriction of sale of raw milk is due to "a conspiracy to protect the profits of the dairy industry". Since almost all of the top 16 dairy producing states do not ban the sale of raw milk. In fact, I live in the state that produces approximately 25% of all of the nations dairy products and it does not ban nor have stringent limitations on the sale of raw milk.

  • @RPMenefee Yes, I am aware that Missouri requires that the lawful purchase of raw milk must be directly from the dairy farm. I was trying to point out that with a little research you can find that several claims in this video and sidebar are quite misleading. #1 The sale of raw milk is actually legal in most of the states, though some of those states do have limitations on how it is sold.

  • I was perplexed by the title of this video because I have been purchasing and drinking raw milk for many years. So, with a little research I was able to find out that the sale of raw milk is actually legal in 28 of the 50 states. In fact, the sale of raw milk is legal in almost all of the top 16 dairy producing states, save Wisconsin (might be a result of that state's dairy lobby).

  • its been illegal for years , we dont have true capitalism , and all these FDA laws are unconstitutional. number of things like this

  • Milk is not the issue. The corporate control of what we want to put into our bodies as food is what is the problem. My father-in-law is a small self sustaining farmer in Ontario Canada and he has had to reduce the number of chickens he can raise and it is illegal for him to slaughter them himself (monitored by the "egg board"). His neighbor sells organic cheese, completely "under the table". If she is caught by the milk board, she can be fined $10,000! Buying "live real food" is now a crime!

  • @littlepiaf I live in Ontario and my parents always bought a ton of chickens from the Mennonites when they were in season, then froze them. Now we cant buy as many chickens because they have a limit to how many they can raise. Its so sad, they are the best chickens ever.

  • Really frustrating. My Pops now just is allowed to raise as many that is for "self consumption". He freezes them, and people still come over to get some if they want.

  • America is not America anymore. The rich have sold us out. A country that cannot live on ITS OWN GOODS AND RESOURCES is hardly a country at all. The "powers that be" are trying to figure out ways to turn law abiding citizens into common criminals. The police used to protect and serve. Today they are nothing more than revenue rakers. When was the last time congress put up legislation that didn't cost You and I in someway? This healthcare bill is so unconstitutional, Cap and Trade.....COME ON!!!

  • I'm 58 and I've been drinking cow's milk for as long as I remember. I've never broken or fractured a bone in my life and as far as I can see; it hasn't done me one whit of harm except give me a mild stomach upset when I've drunk more than a liter at one sitting. I love the stuff but I agree with these two that 'raw' milk is better & I don't miss an opportunity to buy it when I can. I can't stand low-fat or skim milk or milk that's interfered with by further processing in any way.

  • Homogenization can mess you up because the fat cells are broken down and out bodies were not ment to take it that way. Plus typical ,store bought milk is full of recombinant bovine growth hormones and other shit. We, as a people should have the right to have raw dairy products if we choose to, not being forced to take pasturized/homogenized crap.

  • ok, im a huge fan of psychetruth... but these two idiots are using scare tactics...

  • How??

  • @SladderBux the truth is very often scary and disturbing, especially with these industries - it's not the fault of the 2 in this video.

  • @SladderBux I agree with you, this video is very one sided, and doesnt really state any facts just a lot of opinion. It sounds like they are reading the whole time. I'm sure they have good intentions but lets just say, this presentation in one of my university classes would get a 60 at best. They should have explained the story in whole at the beginning, presented facts that support both sides, then at the end allow for their opinions and interpretations.

  • CODEX ALIMENTARIUS!!!!!!!! beware!!!!!!

  • .....O.o how much money did they spend on this?

  • very very nice videos

  • Raw milk = disgusting bacteria that makes you sick... durr

  • @quitejaded your preference. that bacteria is good for you durrr

  • Yes, its good for us. That's why people die from it. :)

  • It's safe if it's tested free of brucellosis and tuberculosis.

  • Welcome to corporate America.. The irony is that the raw milk doesnt contain corporate chemical junks that makes u fat an ugly; and if they let u buy healthy raw milk than they lose profit and cant control u anymore!

    I grew up on raw caw milk on daily bases and never been to hospital in my life. Im 43 now and still feel like 27;

  • great video!... except i dont see a link to help the farmers, and the intro music sounds like an 80s tv special.

  • We Needto Change this government, Change the wayy of living! do away with this government that is not for the people!!

  • its not loading! :o

  • Raw milk should be called organic milk. Raw sounds disgusting.

  • I'm not sure why this is such a surprise... In the UK you can't legally produce to sell anything without running it by the food standards agency, you need a certificate!

In principle selling any dairy products... That could be risky if the farmer isn't licensed and knows how to spot and treat any infections their cow might have... But In the back on my mind I'm not sure that's what this is all about. = /

  • as much they can make sure pastorized milk is clean and safe they can make sure that raw milk is, it is simply not the way the government chose to act
