  • What about George Gervin oO

  • What about Steve Francis?

  • DANNY AINGE IS NOT A LEGEND!

  • Nuts! I was hoping to see some actual footage of Bob Love. That guy, along with Brian Winters, had the best looking shot I ever saw.

  • @sthugh wow ya Love did have all that grace on his shot!! but also he could bruise guys in the paint. He was awesome.

When they pulled in Nate Thurmond that team with Bob Love Norm Van Lier, Sloan, Boerwinkel I thought sure they were gonna pull down a championship but the Warriors got that ring crazy but Rick Barry could NOT be denied at that time

  • @ZipperZappleZ I loved watching Rick Barry too though! He was a real gentleman of the game. And another great pure shooter. I recall Thurmond mostly for his rebounding. Not much got past him. A great team that came along a couple of years later that I use to go watch was the St. Louis Spirits. They only lasted 2 years, but that 1st year they were unbeatable. Moses Malone, Marvin Barnes, Freddie Lewis, Fly Williams, Maurice Lucas, Caldwell Jones.

  • Even Jordan said Moncrief was the toughest competitor he's ever faced.

  • left out marques johnson

  • A part Billy Paultz tous les autres sont connus et reconnus, un petit bemol a Rudy T qui est plus connu comme etant le coach des Houston Rockets lors de leur victoire sur les titres.

  • love the old school broadcast production.

  • Great! Is that the same Rudy Tomjonovic who coached the Houston Rockets? I had a minor crush on Ainge back in the day-glad to see him getting some respect.

  • @ChristineCAlb Yes he is. He had a horrible altercation with Kermit Washington. Youtube it and you'll find it.

Rudy brought the best players to Houston and the back-to-back championships.

  • Miss you Billy

  • wut bout joe caldwell?

  • That just scratches the surface of great players whose names have been buried under Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kobe, & LeBron.

  • as a Boston fan, appreciate how very good Sidney Moncrief was, and really, those Buck teams of the '80's were consistently very, very good. If those teams had played in any other era, they would have won at least one championship, but in the '80s could not get past those great Sixer and Celtic teams....

  • if any of you play nba 2k10 im trying 2 put up as many great on the game and soon will be uploading it so ppl can download it 2 play almost finish just wish they had the short shorts and colorful socks then were on the money my user name is shadoizm

  • bILLY paultz an MEL DANIELS should be in the nba hall of fame they were great centers that plyed in the ABA.CHARLIE SCOTT==RANDY SMITH==BOBBY DANDRIDGE== ALL WERE GREAT PLAYERS. SHOULD BE IN THE HALL OF FAME.JUST TO NAME A FEW.

  • thx

     good subject!!!

  • Many thanks for this. Moncrief and Love, two GREAT players. How about Phil Smith, Jerry Sloan, Chet Walker, Lou Hudson? Even Bob Lanier, Wes Unseld and Dennis Johnson aren't recognized today as the greats they were, while overrated guys like Elvin Hayes are celebrated.

  • sidney moncrief had an aberage lebron james game

  • I hate spam but if you ever want a jersey that you can't get anywhere else, check my jersey videos. We can do all those players you loved but History has forgot. McGinnis, Truck Robinson, Alvin Adams, Jack Sikma etc.

  • D.A. wasn't that good

  • I respect ur opinion. But D.A. was a valuable player on the Celtics. His D was solid as he guarded some of the best players in NBA history. He is one of the deadiest shooters as well. He has always been a winner. He has the rec for most points in overtime quarter. He also was a Pro baseball player with the Blue Jays. N he went to a ton of Finals in his NBA career as he was valuable in doing so. So to me he is better than most think. Not to mention 08 GM Celtics Champ. Well Deserve.

  • Oh cool i didn't know that, it's just i got this video that's NBA bloopers and he's in like 7 times

  • That's all true, but Danny Ainge also couldn't really drible, played a bit undersized for his position, was incredibly streaky, and once he left the Celtics, he never won again.

In reality, Moncrief is WAY better than all these dudes.

  • @VeoShock i dont think he was a "legend" but danny ainge was a good all around player.

  • @VeoShock All I'll say about Ange is that he's not forgotten. I mean, we're not talking about Michael Ray Richardson, here.

  • @Tdogg447 bullshit and his jumper was wet as hell too

  • @getyahaton I don't remember watching this video or posting that comment haha it was a year ago so that's why.

  • @Tdogg447 truthfully the league lacks these kinds of players not a lot of guys can shoot if its not a three or make good basketball plays now it about athletic ability we'll teach him this or that

  • @Tdogg447 yeah he was good for spotting up, not a premier scorer at all but could always get you a quick 3

  • @upyours537 lol that comment was 3 years ago hahaha! but yea ive watched him since then and realized he was a pretty decent player

  • @Tdogg447 lol 3 years i just saw that! this video obviously hasnt been commented on in awhile if the top comments are that old, haha!

  • @upyours537 hahaha yea thats pretty funny haha i remember watching this and typing that comment to...weird haha

  • great mix, danny ainge was a good player and is very underrated

  • No. 44 was known to both myself and my friends as the biggest cry-baby known to man.

Nevertheless, I am grown up and understand that he is a champion 3 times over.

But, when I was a kid living in Milwaukee, No. 44 was HATED. I mean hated. I don't mean hating your mom or dad kind of hate, but TRUE HATE!

I have grown up and realized that Danny Ainge is one of the greats and I respect him for his contribution to the game.

He should have been a WWE wrestler! He was born for it!

  • Gotta agree with you, man. As an Showtime Lakers fan in the 80s, I hated Ainge with a PASSION when he was with the Celtics, probably more than any OTHER Celt. I really appreciated him, though, once he headed out west to Portland and Phoenix. The guy was scrappy, and I give him props for that. Hell, anyone crazy enough to jump on Tree Rollins TWICE has some SERIOUS balls and deserve props! LOL!

  • i can't front, Bob Love's story in the documentary Black Magic choked me up. a true inspiration to many. i like this beat too by the way...

  • George McGinnis (sick dunks). Danny Ainge awesome :P

  • yes, love Rudy T.

  • EL SID!!
