As a retired paramedic I've seen a lot of violence and I've seen a lot of police responses. If you are attacked in, say, Wyoming or Utah or Oklahoma or... well, the list is far too long, the last thing you want to do is call the cops and say "I was beaten because I am gay." Sad but true.

That is a good point that is why I have a different view than most. I just be myself, and I am a man so I have no desire to do the things some of them do. If they are hitting on straight guys that needs to stop. It is illogical. I like to keep my orientation private. Everybody is different though! We can't all be like robots~ the world would be dull. I find it most entertaining to see things happening outside in the real world rather than TV. so much different when you are there seeing the news!
