To put it plainly, I am considering voting for Obama to punish the Republican Party should they nominate Newt Gingrich. While I know Barry has raped the economy, I'll sooner live in an economic downturn than in a police state with a batty dictator trying to shut down the internet and calling for anyone bringing 2 oz. of marijuana into the country to be executed.

I fear you and Ron Paul want us to live in a country where we are fearful, pessimistic, and not good. Considering your rabid support of the Patriot Act and the destruction of the U.S. Constitution, and the freedoms they give us, I am not surprised at your glee at Gingrich winning South Carolina. Apart from Gingrich's personal issues, one has to take note of his buddy Alvin Toffler's book "The 3rd Wave", a book that openly called for the death of the Constitution, which Newt wrote the forward to.

Ron Paul is not a conservative nor a republican, he is a libertarian. By opposing the USAPatriot Act and the DHS and other such policies, you are ignoring both the constitutional authority of government to protect the republican and the declaration of independence.

@MrConservativeTalk According to the Common Space Scoring system for the voting records of Legislators and Executives in the Federal Government, Ron Paul is the most conservative person from 1937-2002, while your boy Newt Gingrich is down in the 500s, somewhere just barely above John McCain and Lindsey Graham. I also don't trust Newt Gingrich being in our White House. His horrendous moral character smacks previous presidents in the face, even Bubba might have better moral character. As for Newt being the only speaker to balance the budget in our lifetime, if by our you mean yourself then yes that is true. However, for most baby boomers, the budget was balanced in 1969, 1960, 1956 and 1955. Newt also has no plan to balance the budget. It must balanced in one term, or less.

@Willredd94 Americans want a President with a bold vision and leadership abilities. Newt Gingrich offers bold solutions and a proven track record. As for his "moral character" he has done some not so good things in the past, but let us remember that all of us are flawed. He is not the same person he was in 1997 or 1998 in some ways, though he is in others. I do know that he remains the same when it comes to important issues, he has not changed his positions on an election calendar.
