  • crap cover OHIO EXPRESS does it better!!!!

  • Wow, not saying I'm old, but I used to skate to this song in high school., and right well I might add. How time changes things...I equate roller skates as a fast track to the E.R. now.

  • @ghostfish01 LOL, I used to ice skate to this. And Venus...gonna have to look them up next. Not going to the ER today....

  • 2:21 of my life I'll never get back.

  • The Doors, Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc., were nothing compared to the Fruitgum! Yea!

  • @sperrico Pffft, this band doesn't touch the Beatles with a 10ft pole.

  • @sperrico YEAH THEY'RE COPY CAT COVER ARTIST..THIS IS A "OHIO EXPRESS" SONG

  • Does anyone know who wrote this? I have a guy in Madison WI who claims he wrote the song with a partner. Said his first royalty check was 80K. Any help? ChicagoBeau Every girl I knew, dated etc., knew every word.

  • @brutaldefender You're on the internet but don't know how to do a Google or Wikipedia search? Per Wikipedia: "Yummy Yummy Yummy" is a bubblegum pop song by Arthur Resnick and Joey Levine, first recorded by Ohio Express in 1968. And to make it relevant to this Youtube, "The song was covered by 1910 Fruitgum Company on the 1968 album 1, 2, 3, Red Light."

  • @macsnafu good call, but some people are fuckin lazy or just stupid

  • @macsnafu I don't know if I've heard this since it first was on the Top 40 AM radio - may have even had this as a 45 or maybe it was on the back of another hit. Long Live the 60's

  • Does anyone know who wrote this? I have a guy in Madison WI who claims he wrote the song with a partner. Said his first royalty check was 80K. Any help? ChicagoBeau

  • They say this song is about oral sex

  • loove this classic bubblegum pop song:)

  • this realllyyyy sucks

  • 3 people got NO love in their tummy!

  • this WAS the original from the 1960's

  • @pokesimlvr No, this isn't the original from the 1960's. Ohio Express did it first.

  • @homecurious You're right--Ohio Express did it first. But 1910 Fruitgum Company's cover of it came out in the same year--so this cover is also from 1968!

  • It sounds like the Ohio Express's instrumental track with different vocals laid over it.

  • It would be nice if it were the original. I can smell a PROMO from a mile away.

  • Lovely song from yesteryear!

  • Lisa: Bart has right, what had you done if Granpa didn't wanted to leave you watch "the first man on the moon" ?

    Homer thinking: YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY

Simpson's Episode, sorry for the text i'm italian xD

  • OHIO EXPRESS...PUH---LEEZZ PEOPLE...NOW THEY COULD HAVE MADE THE SONG..BUT THIS IS AN OHIO EXPRESS CLASSIC

  • ok somebody tell me im wrong and ill be more than glad but doesnt the music mirror the ohio express's version?

  • @dadadruma LOL this is the Ohio Express. Baby Boomers make this common mistake, confusing them with 1910 Fruitgum.

  • @Haroldbeavis1969 ha ha ha ha yes this is ohio express

  • ahh, here we go!

I grew up with WHND honey radio, and they'd play this song every week...could count on it sometime during every saturday, along with several other bubblegum favorites.

    Thanks for the memories!

  • NJ boys from Linden

  • I met a guy in HawaII (BIG ISLAND) who was a cook who said he was a member of this group way back---my mind was a little fuzzy (it involves tiny umbrellas)--Any rock peeps have a idea who it was??

  • Just Discovered Them Today My Mom Bought A CD And The First Song Was Simon Says Which I Remember From Kindergarden The Funny Thing Is I Will Be 27 In September And All My Friend Think I Am Crazy

  • @meowthecatsaid83 I turned 29 in September and I dig music from the 50's to the 70s. Sophistication of the 50s. Classic rock of the 60's. And the bright, bubbly disco era. This is music.

  • *__*

  • das is ja das lied aus der kinderschokolade werbung! wie geil!

  • lolol have this in storage at ma mums ....omg gigglin ma ass off here =]

  • So damn fun to dance to!

  • the best of the best of this song comes from the Ohio Express - Yummy Yummy Yummy 2008

  • Ohio Express and Fruitgum Compnay were all part of the same production company.

  • I love the 1910 Fruitgum Co, and The Ohio Express, and all those Buddah Bubblegum groups! I also love the other bubblegum groups that recorded with other labels, such as The Archies (Calender/Kirshner),The Jackson 5 (Motown),The Partridge Family (Bell/Arista),and The Monkees (Colegram)! Now don't get me wrong- I love this recording, but being a HUGE fan of Joey Levine, I DO prefer his nasally voice with The Ohio Express on this song, though I know the backup vocals for each version are identical.

  • Who doesn't?

    taxiboysdrummer

    Marty Thau produced my band?

  • lol

  • I have never heard this by 1910 Fruitgum Company only by The Ohio Express. They are good. Thanks for posting.

  • Ahhhh, now that's the stuff!
