Leonard turned 74 a few weeks ago on September 21. Seeing him at the recent concert in Glasgow, skipping around the stage, you would think it was 1973!
It was fantastic to see him again. His voice is just mesmerizing. And he sang Famous Blue Raincoat!
Also when he spoke 'There is a crack in everything thats how the light gets in', I started screaming with joy that he was about to sing this! Best moment of a concert ever (well, at least tied with when Tom Waits started playing the beautiful Invitation To The Blues on the piano with the low blue lighting on him).
Seeing this song live truly made my young life. Hope to hear him sing it again in November as it is my favourite Cohen song of all time (Chelsea Hotel and Famous Blue Raincoat are right behind it though).
Quality video of the great man who still has such an incredible voice. A brilliant concert! Yes l was there wasn't it brill, wonderful, thanks for sharing
I really can say that I love this man with all of my heart!

Anybody any idea how old the man is now?
I think he's in the seventies?
But his voice is still like 1973!

"Anthem" is a very deep song, and he explains it exactly, although shortly - "so much of the world is plunged in the darkness".
