Some discussion here obviously... :) I'm not saying I'm trying to play the song like Wooten played it exactly, there are better versions of that on YouTube, this was my interpretation.

Anyhow, I'm playing this as I would be playing it on a 24 fret 4-string, except that one last G# in the end:) So, actually, it is a bit easier to play on a 4-string than on a 6-string, because you don't have those two extra strings hanging out there and trying to ring open:) This was just my bass at the moment.

I think that everyone here is either blind or maybe they have no idea how a bass works. Victor Wooten plays this song on a 4 string bass. This loser is using a 6 string bass which adds 33.333333333% more strings and makes it about 66.666666666 times easier.... WEAK.

If someone's interested, the bass is an unmodified Yamaha RBXJM2, played through a cheap Behringer BX1200 combo with no effects used.
