go to a headshop if theres one around, they almost always have hacky sacks. i really like the sand filled like dirtbags or stallys. i have a synthetic suede sand filled and i love it. i had a pellet filled crocheted kind and it was really bouncy and pretty tough to use but was nice in groups because it loved to bounce high and made for some intersting moves, it was also washable and waterproof. a hemp hacky will last you the longest though.

But imma be serious and just say go to like a place where they sell bongs, usually where you find pot advertisement you usually find a hacky sack for sale near by... funny, but true.

Another place is supposively art gallaries where you can buy stuff from, there I guess people croché hacky sacks together and sell them, my friend got me one from an art gallarie, and it was sick. :)

I like playing with sand sacks, like the ones you cna order online for anywhere between $10-$40. The one I use alot is the sandmaster, very easy to group hack, not good for stall tricks.

Or find the end peice where the croché ended unknot it, take some beads out, than sew it back up.

Another suggestion would be too leave the paper material that is inside the hackysack in there, I took mine out once because I didn't know what it was, and I later found it it was to keep the remainder of the beads in.

@leestitzel it makes it more flat when you first get it its all bulky but when you do that it makes it softer and easier to stall... your supposed to do that like 4-8 times when you get a new one.. and it makes it not so bouncy which is good

As true as it is that emtpy hacky sacks are easier to stall, mine are somewhere in the 66%-80% full. The beads I often use though break out through the weave and empty it out fast, which why recently I have started filling them with buttons. XD

Good point though, it may have been at the end of its time when I recorded this video, I don't remember that well. =/!

honestly, that is a good idea, but like I love the stalls a shit load more, what I kind of did in the video is basically like a hit but slowed down, if you keep your foot at a prx. 90 degrees the whole time it should go directly up, and fall directly back down.

If you are wanting to pass than instead of pulling your foot straight back up, I would suggest pointing it in the direction, but sure. I haven't footbagged in awhile, so I will work on one. Thanks for the suggestions. =]!
