The statue metaphor sums it up best....beautiful from the outside, but right up close its cracked and damaged. Not all people wasting their life or hurting others are decrepit drug addicts and criminals. We can all lead better lives in some way.

Its a song about the frustration of life and she sings it full of empathy with people that feel that frustration. How do I know this? Because I can feel it myself. Inside. You know?

Can I say, I have called people 'chick' or 'bud' or 'dude' in my life. I'm no stuffed shirt sort of person.
