  • GERRY DOES A GOOD JOB ON THIS ONE PERFECT!

  • Love this!!!!

  • who would of ever guessed that cheech and chong would of made this song popular again by mentioning in in one of their comedy records. he would always request to the D.J. click clack by Dicky Do And the Don"ts , a record store sold a lot of oldie 45s of it in the mid west right after that... and also that is when I heard it for the first time.!!!! wow!!!!

  • Dicky Doo lived in Upper Black Edy in the day.

  • thanks..always liked this song

  • I was not a big fan of Dickey Doo and the Don'ts but in 1960 they played at my Grammar School Prom in Westville, N.J. and they were ok!

  • Hells bells, haven't heard this song for 50 years. Used to be played on Radio Luxembourg on the Decca record Show. Must look up the Dell Vikings now!

    Thans for this.

  • MMBaLaDaDaDa. Thanks!

  • I remember watching Gerry Granahan at the Cranston Bowl in Rhode Island in the 80's.

  • WOW when I was 11 years old this was a big hit, still sounds great!

  • Heh, my father was in this band. He played electric bass when electric bass was new.

  • Boyd Bennett & His Rockets covered this song at King Records.

  • My Last Name Is Bennett

  • This Swan label 45 has ranked in my top ten all time favorite records ever since it was released. It remains one of rock and roll's absolute masterpieces! Would love to see a clip of them doing this live.

  • As a former DJ, OLDIES FREAK and RAIL-

ROAD BUFF, this song to me is an HAT

TRICK! Was 8 years old when this tune was released, 1958, my favorite year of

the fifties. I play this everyday to get me going, ON THE RIGHT TRACK!

  • I haven't heard this for 50 years and still remember the words. ;)

    Thanks.
