In the boys defense they are young boys. Prohaps you should blame the department stores and thier marketing for pushing on people that Star Wars is geared for boys and not the young boys themselves.After all, people kids at that age only know what society pushes on them. I'm female, and I've been a HUGE fan of Star Wars since 5th grade or so. The great thing about SW is that it's got something for everyone--action, comedy, drama, romance, sci-fi, fantasy, philosophy, politics, etc. So trying to limit it to a certain demographic is kind of ridiculous.
Oh, and my favorite SW character is definitely Mara Jade. Talk about a strong female character.
This video definitely deserved more views. Back when I was in 1st grade if a girl liked Star Wars I wouldn't have made fun of her, she would have instantly became one of my best friends.
