  • Wooh!!!!! Another great performance!!! Spectacular ricochet!!!

For someone your age you're doing really well. =]

  • how much was your violin?

  • WOW HOW DID U DO THE STACCATO??? HOW LONG IT TOOK U TO PRACTICE?? ITS AWESOME!!!

  • Wow! In the future you are so going to be in demand!!! I imagine by now you are even better than better

  • Your flying staccato is much more epic than mine

  • thats cool.

    i love your clear play..

  • Sorry, his name's Fedor Roudine. I thought being Moscovite, it was Feodor. If I could criticise anything, it'd be the "Intro". Here it could be just a bit more lyrical, as was the French style of the time thus giving a sweeter contrast between the French Intro and the Spanish Rondo. I was 1st introduced to this work by a veteran Spanish violinist in 1977 who gave a really sensitive performance and called the work a French-Spanish marriage. Well done, Fedor! Maybe see u at The Proms one day?!

  • Amazing dude! Your bowing is fantastic!

  • My favorite part of this video is seeing him do the chromatic run

  • Thats a great performance!! I like it very much... keep going kid!! Congratulations!

  • This is excellent! It's very well played. But the orchestra rushed him. Badly. No-one should have to play this piece that quickly.

  • i agree, the dance section is a bit too fast. Still a great performance though. hard piece.

  • @malikrox. I'm not sure if I'd agree - this IS meant to be a Spanish dance (composed for Sarasate) & there are spanish influences, especially in the 2nd subject of the Rondo, and St-S did call it "capriccioso", which in Spanish suggests a certain vibrance which I think Feodor captures really well here. Janine Jansen takes this at a similar tempo, with the same sparkling results. It's to Feodor's credit that he can perform at this tempo and with such virtuosity! He will go far!!!! Bravo!!

  • wow i wish I could play like you

  • Dude, that sounded awsome!!!!! I didn't watch the hole thing, but i watched the first couple minutes. Keep up the good work....

  • Absolutely wondeful! First video in a logn time on youtube I had the pateince to watch completely!

  • u remind me of the young Perlman!

  • Tres tres beau...

  • it's a shame the orchestra rushed the soloist and the conductor failed to do anything about it. it's pretty clear in a number of places that the poor kid is struggling to keep up.

  • OMG.....this is the one of the best performances I have heard in my life.

  • verry good performance

  • superbe !!!!!

  • very good

  • very good job. Unlike most other vids, it doesn't sound forced. I applaud you!

  • Wondrous job. It's nice to see a child prodigy who plays the music really MUSICALLY.

  • very impressive upbow staccato and clean playing

  • his violin's not that good.

  • no he's not french,he's russian!!!

  • no, he's French

  • someone did NOT just say Saint-Saens is russian!

  • he was talking about the violinist. the violinist is russian.

  • Great talent. Wow. It's nice to see someone so young perform so beautifully TRUE music.

  • Very clear, expressive and in perfect tune! Wonderful at 14 years!

  • wonderful for any age!

  • wow, this is AMAZING.

  • Super Star!!!

  • lol oboe came in early, nice save though

  • It's a shame that the orchestra level is almost the same as the soloist's... I don't know if it's in the mix or if the orchestra is just way too insensitive lol

  • Dude- i've gotta say- I've been majorly impressed by your videos! Seeing you play this piece is just wow! Great stuff- Keep it up!

  • Omg i cant think tat age onli 14 years old could Play tat fAsr!!!! Faster dhen other pp!!!!OMG!!!

  • Amazing!!! Wait, this is in Russia? Knew it was too good to be true... Gosh, all the great players and orchestras are from Europe and Asia. Sigh... oh well.

  • man , I've mentioned in the description of the video that I was playing in Paris ! FRANCE ! ^^

  • In some way it is also dificult piece,i play it wery good on a tehnique way but i am working much more on a interpretation, like you should.Ask as much people on ther opinion about your playing as you think you should.Try one thing.,take much more easier pieces but work much more on them.Make them perfect in ewery way.

  • oh come on - philadelphia, cleveland, boston, chicago and the met opera orchestra are all just as good as nearly all orchestras in europe and asia. only berlin, vienna and concergtebouw really stand above them

  • once again, russian school rules.

  • He's french

  • You did it great!!! Congratulations!

  • I don't care for the tempo of the work (too fast for me), and the orchestra isn't subdued enough. It's hard to fault your technique.

  • Very well played but the accoustics in the hall were bad. Lots of resonance. Of course he did tend to rush some difficult sections....but who doesn't?

  • It's opus 28 by the way, not 25

  • yeah, I know^^I've made the mistake since the beginning when making the subtitle for the video...but thanks anyway !

  • So fast the hands age 13...omg!~~~

  • You must mean age 14

  • omg age 13 can play tis ~it's reali a breathtaking 1 :D keep it up!

  • dude this guy is pro..have you seen him play carmen?

  • At such an age, played incredibly, and with style. Wish I was this good! Lots of time I guess,. Wish I'd started before age 16!

The guy to his top right, with the very red violin, seems to play too close to the fingerboard a lot of the time

  • Absolutely amazing. Such a difficult piece mastered at such a young age is mind boggling. Simply wonderful. Don't give up.

  • He owned the end? He owned the whole fucking piece. Excellent job!

  • very god ho is your teacher?

  • Where the hell did THAT come from?

  • You owned the ending. I wish I had fingers that could move that fast! :P

  • your technique really very pro ... btw to this piece i think the best play is with Stern...

  • I'm amazed at how perfect your right hand is, its just amazing, ricochet perfect, staccato moe than perfect... It's at like, pro level already... And you were, what, 14 doing this?

  • good technique...

  • Fast........allegro.....NS!!!!!! INcredible speed is he, a pro violinist:P

  • I liked how you performed, but i'd like to make a few comments.p1-very confident,a few fowl notes, liked it.p2 good rhythm, loved the staccato.p3 the passage leading into main melody came in early.p5-8 like, end of 8 ur shoulder tensed up.beautiful sound!I'm just listening to random people to see how i can improve, thanks for being my guinea pig =P

  • not bad man

  • Very good technique, but to fast for me.

  • hehe check out the "corpses" with the red factory violins in the orchestra!! :)

  • Intense Man!!

  • very aggressive!! LOVE IT!!

  • nice

  • your technical facilities are amazing... you play this at an incredible speed and are very acurate. however i feel you take it at such a speed that you aren't able to make much music out of it... good work though!
