I respect everyone's choices but I do believe that an embryo has life from the moment the sperm gets into the mother's egg and starts developing. Once this is the case it is not the mother's choice because it is not her body she is giving away, it is another life entirely. the problem is scientific imo. in certain cultures babys are not considered human after birth because there survival is still very questionable. i think that abortions only before the 3rd trimester(? i forget if its this one) makes sense.
however we are becoming able to make premature baby's survive earlier and earlier all the time. if we use this as a marker then we will be killing baby's with potential for life quite soon.

Every creature, even at the single cell level, "wants" to live. It's programmed that way. My point is that throughout a good chunk of the pregnancy, the "child" is a tadpole-like booger slightly resembling a human, and we have no reason to think it's anything more than that. Late in the pregnancy, that's certainly a person, and I don't see why they can't just remove it alive and do their best to keep it that way.

I respect everyone's choices but I do believe that an embryo has life from the moment the sperm gets into the mother's egg and starts developing. Once this is the case it is not the mother's choice because it is not her body she is giving away, it is another life entirely. I know that I might get some hate comments for saying this but I see it as the same thing as committing a murder. If you do not want a baby be responsible and use the protection necessary to prevent it instead of aborting.

the problem is scientific imo. in certain cultures babys are not considered human after birth because there survival is still very questionable. i think that abortions only before the 3rd trimester(? i forget if its this one) makes sense.
however we are becoming able to make premature baby's survive earlier and earlier all the time. if we use this as a marker then we will be killing baby's with potential for life quite soon.
it seems to me that consciousness can be the only marker for life.

My point is that throughout a good chunk of the pregnancy, the "child" is a tadpole-like booger slightly resembling a human, and we have no reason to think it's anything more than that. Late in the pregnancy, that's certainly a person, and I don't see why they can't just remove it alive and do their best to keep it that way.

It's not opinion. Just common sense, you will see in time. Look up people like Kissinger and Brzezinski-they are very important players in his admin-it can't hurt to wiki them. Why don't you wann talk bout polotics or religion? Like I said christianity involves saving souls. Some of the reasons I stated already, I can't grasp the concept of god with my logic-it doesn't make sense-I just wanna find and compare other principles with my own.

There is no scientific support of the assertion that zygotes are not separate, living, human beings.
DNA science has unambiguously shown that they are.

To all pro-aborts: Would it be acceptable to murder 4-year-old children born to drug addict parents because they might grow up in an emotionally damaged environment. Do you know the story of our current president (I didn't vote for him)? He was born to a single mother (probably in Kenya) and had what we would call a rough upbringing. Obama didn't INVENT abortions. It was I believe Roe vs Wade in 1973 when Obama was around 13yrs. Can't blame Obama for abortions. We do know he didn't abort his two daughters. Oh but those guilty to the point of capital punishment usually get there for a reason, they are adults who have committed one if not several heinous crimes against humanity. They are essentially animals, having no regard for the sanctity of life. The murder of innocent babies however... come on! Do I even need to go there. How can we ever rationalize that? murder=murder, I agree. But these are 2 different kinds of murder. One is almost always totally justified, the other just breaks my heart.

Do you know some people on death row for something that they didn't do? Capital punishment does not deter crime. Capital punishmen regardlesss of the reason/s =murder. Abortion=murder. There is ONLY ONE kind of murder. That is to kill regardless of reason. Even the use of contraceptive is a form of Abortion. Even if guilty, capital punishment =murder so does abortions. The baby just might grow up to a Dr. who performs abortions or even kill someone. Who really knows?

Yes, I know that some are unfairly executed by capital punishment. Take Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior for example. Contraceptives are not a form of abortion, a weak excuse for sexual abstinence, but not abortion. Think! Life starts at CONCEPTION, not BEFORE CONCEPTION. We are talking about what to do with life once it BEGINS, regardless of how inconvenient it is. The aborted baby could grow up to be someone great, even without loving parents, a good education or hard times.

I don't recall my Bible saying sex is for pleasure, stress relief or anything different.The only people who justify the use of contraceptives are people who use sex for reasons NOT stated in the Bible. Capital punishment is just as cruel as abortions. Who knows what state of mind John Wayne Gacy was in? Nobody!

I'm not advocating the use of contraceptives. I'm saying that using them does not murder children, they PREVENT them. The Bible doesn't say anything about contraceptives at all. I'm married 12 yrs now and have a beautiful daughter, but I'd have many more if my wife had a baby every time we had sex. I could never afford that in many ways. Abortion is for those who are already PREGNANT, the life that has begun and THEN it is killed off, there is a big difference. What does Gacy have to do with it

Most likely he had a mental illness which he had no control and should have not been murder. why does god give us the capacity to sin?
if god is the god I am led to believe then he must have known mankind would sin, therefore he must want us to sin-otherwise the world moves outside of gods control (gods plan). God made us so we could breed-if he really wanted us to only breed when we were wedlocked then surely there would be an inbuilt mechanism to prevent us from doing so when not in wedlock-If god is omnipotent and omnipresent then by definition of god we have no free will.

If it's not the right thing do to, then why keep it legal? Life and Death is a serious thing, incase you don't know. We're talking about millions and millions of murders here. These choices result in consequences, and in the case of abortion, these consequences are savage and horrific. Do you know what goes on during an abortion? Its sick and twisted.
