I would rather I know about Iron maiden freely and not have 12 year old's singing the mainstream Iron maiden songs and have them overplayed on the radio and ruining them for me. Having metal as the popular music will make bands pop up everywhere, each band trying to be unique and ruin metal. Keep metal out of the destructive light of the mainsteam world - keep it pure!
