I agree with what you are saying, in regards to Metallica, but i would say a better example would be load, reload, and god forbid st anger haha not their best albums,

and how can u not dig Gothenburg Metal dude, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, hell yah Arch Enemy tho that bitch can not only growl, shes not bad looking either.

I am just a big fan of this band and think they deserve a lot more or a fan base for what they do, and wouldn't mind seeing them come to Canada.

its often the fact that popularity forces a band to produce music sometimes for the masses which destroys their initial essence, in fact, architect of lies is a slight straying from mercenary's original sound but i cannot deny that the entire album blew me away, fantastic music, who cares whether its straying from roots? (: it just shouldn't go too commercial, thats all i hope, good music is rare.
